Dino Bite from Drumond Park

Dino Bite, from Drumond Park is one of the latest game releases just in time for Christmas! This fantastic, interactive game is aimed at children from the age of 4 years upwards however I can certainly say that Liv who is under 4 years really enjoyed playing this game.

The aim of the game is to rescue the 20 x Dino Babies (blue, red, green and yellow coloured eggs)who have been stolen from another nest before the nasty T-Rex bites! Complete with real jungle noises (please note that 2 AA batteries are required) this really does add to the authenticity of the game. With a dice and a pair of tweezers, each player takes a turn to roll the dice to define a colour before carefully lifting the giant leaf covering the next and using the tweezers to rescue an egg. Pretty simple you may think… that is because I have not mentioned the Dino waiting to pounce… once the T-Rex knows that you are there it roars and lunges forward to cover the leaf. For younger ones, they may found it easier to use their fingers as opposed to tweezers to pick up the eggs. Liv used this method and found it much easier.

A game of skill and patience, Dino Bite from Drumond Park is a fun game that will have children engaged for quite a while. The suspense is a great thrill and Liv couldn’t help but squeal with delight each time she rescued an egg without the Dino lunging forward to bite! I actually found the game appealed to myself also, it was great fun watching Liv’s reactions and I have to admit that even I was getting nervous about the T-Rex lunging forward!

I found the game very easy to assemble, simply click together the two parts, fill the nest with the eggs and you are ready to roll. As easy as it is to assemble, the same applies for placing back in the box, actually making the game quite portable. So if you  have family visits planned this Christmas and you need to keep your children entertained, Dino Bite is the ideal gift!

This game is just one of a fantastic range of children’s games from Drumond Park.

With an RRP of £19.99 Smyths and Amazon currently have Dino Bite priced at £14.99!
