Poppy Cat – Birthday Treasure and Other Adventures #NickJr

Poppy Cat

Nick Jr has to be one of my favourite children’s tv channels, let alone Liv! With a wide range of programmes such as Dora the Explorer (which I love due to its Educational Benefits) and Peppa Pig (surely the most widely recognised pig?!) there is something to amuse every child and keep them entertained.

Poppy Cat is another favourite which is a great wind down programme for Liv just before bedtime. We also have one of the beautiful pop up books from the Poppy Cat range which is a lovely read with great illustrations. The animated series is very light hearted and easy to follow, it is perfect for pre-schoolers. To then learn that the first DVD in the Poppy Cat range is now available was very exciting, even more so that Liv and I got to watch the DVD before it was released.

As expected Liv was glued to the DVD and I did have to pause it in order for us to have a break!

“Birthday Treasure and Other Adventures” features 11 episodes – just over 2 hours of fun, following Poppy Cat and her friends as they head off on exciting adventures.

The voice of Poppy Cat is the lovely Joanna Page – more famously known for Gavin & Stacey!

With any DVD purchase, families will receive a buy one get one free voucher into Chessington World of Adventures Resort, giving children their own opportunity to have their own adventures!
