The lovely people at Thomson Al Fresco Holidays have recently launched their fantastic ‘Young Travel Writer’ competition. The perfect excuse for children to express their writing skills, the competition is a great way to encourage your child’s development with the chance to possibly win a family holiday of a lifetime, to an Al Fresco parc of the winner’s choice.
After the success of last year’s ‘Young Travel Writer’ competition, Al Fresco Holidays together with children’s book author, Jeremy Strong have launched another fun competition for children to express their writing skills.
For 2013, the theme of the writing competition is ‘My Fantastic Journey’ – in order to enter, children are asked use their imagination and let their creativity run free whilst putting pen to paper. Children simply need to write a story about a fantastic journey that they recall, this is their chance to be as creative as possible!
Everyday a random entry will be uploaded to the kidz blog on the Al Fresco Holidays website. The top five will be judged for the chance to win a holiday to an Al Fresco parc of their choice and all will receive runners up prizes.
Al Fresco Holidays, the luxury outdoor holiday provider offer parcs all across Europe. The company specialise in providing fun, activity filled holidays for families in amazing locations at 55 parcs across France, Spain, Holland, Italy, Croatia and Austria.
The competition is open from the 3rd of February 2013 until the 31st of March 2013 and is open to children aged six to twelve years. Entries must have a word limit of up to 500 words.
Further details regarding the competition can be found here.
