I have just paid a visit to my local mini Tesco and noticed that there is a Euro Millions rollover of £44 million for tonight. Unfortunately I do not have money to waste on a ticket… it’s an expensive piece of small pink paper at the end of the day! The chances of actually winning are slim to none but I can still dream. If money was no object at the moment, what would I splash the cash on?
A new sofa… it goes without saying, mine is absolutely knackered! I have to think about a 4 year old who likes felt tip pens and a dog who likes to curl up on the sofa so leather is the only way to go. In an ideal world I would plump for a light coloured fabric sofa that was so comfy you never wanted to get off it! .
In an ideal world the UK would have more sun than rain, which would warrant having stunning outside furniture. There is nothing better than chilling in the summer sun, with a barbeque and friends, supping ice cold Magners until late in the night. When it’s dark, that is the time to bring out the garden candles, fire pit and toast some marshmellows… Bliss!
Lighting in my house has never been great and it would be nice to change my ceiling lighting in order to brighten the house and create a homely feel.
The possibilities for my wish list are endless and I could quite happily write about them all day, though the real world beckons! Besides home furnishings, I do think that with a £44 million win I would treat Liv and I to a wonderful, sun soaked, fun filled holiday. Plenty of swimming, action for children, comfy sun loungers on the beach with strawberry daiquiris on tap.
Whoever wins such a monumental amount on the lottery is very lucky and I hope they manage to fulfil their own wish list!
