Eurovision Can Mean Only One Thing… Online Food And Drink Shopping!

This week has been absolutely crazy and I have been running around like a headless chicken, albeit a rather productive one. So many things have cropped up and my week culminated with a fantastic Eurovision shindig at friends on Saturday night. The wine was flowing, the kids were having so much fun and how I was able to give the taxi driver who brought us home the exact change is still a mystery!

One thing I have noticed this week is the fact I have been to my local supermarket more than I have in the past couple of months. It felt great to walk into a busy supermarket again however, I must admit I have missed looking for the fantastic prices you find when ordering your shopping online. By using the website you can easily get money off your first shop, as well as ‘buy one get one free’ offers and discounted items that you wouldn’t usually find in store.

Working from home means my free time (when Liv is at nursery) is already spoken for in terms of my work. The fact I can have my shopping delivered to my door and that all my heavy items are carried for me is a great time saver. It does however mean you have to trust your delivery driver to keep your bottles safe! But when you’re getting it delivered for free, as well as brilliant discounts like 2 crates of cider for £18, little facts like this disappear into insignificance.

I completely place all blame on the fact I woke up this morning feeling like a sloth on the Eurovision, in particular the Eurovision drinking game. It was a great shame that Bonny Tyler could not come higher up the leader board, but at least we were not in last place. I was surprised at the lack of the usual euro pop, all the songs appeared to be ballads. Heather at Note From Lapland was a super host as always and rounded off my manic week with a bang! I am looking forward to the next week and for also getting back to my usual online grocery deliveries!

I think I ought to give online shopping another chance. i fell out with it for a while cause all my fruit and veg was always bruised and meats and milk too close to sell by date for my liking.

I have had complaints with most of the online supermarkets I have used… however I am very impressed with who I currently use 🙂
