Yet again we have had another action packed, fun filled weekend… Liv and I have had a few of those recently! I am still attempting to trawl through the hundreds of images I have taken this weekend. Some sober, some not so much thanks to the lovely Note From Lapland!
Friday started with a review meal at the Frankie and Benny’s in my local town… I cannot go into details yet but the review will be well worth the read! When a manager even agrees that the service and food is not up to par you know something is clearly wrong!
With every intention of having an early night that didn’t happen… Heather and I trundled off into the black hole that is my local town for a very impromptu night out. Every time I have a night out there I vow never to go again… then I do and recall exactly why I said that the time before. All in all though it was a fantastic night out with a great friend and we had quite a few giggles along the way!
Saturday was spent at a blogger event in Manchester – a visit to the fantastic National Football Museum… not enough Chelsea memorabilia for my liking but still… a very nice large image of the legend that was Vialli caught my eye. It was great to meet up with my blogger buddies and Liv had great fun getting stuck into decorating a trophy and building little planes to fly around. The museum is free to enter to definitely check it out!
With such nice weather at the moment I am so happy I no longer have to wake up at 6am on Saturday mornings to do my courier job. It was great at the time and certainly kept me fit – I did happen to take the greatest delight in waking people up at 8:30am to sign for their parcels, evil Sim! It was great work for a mum and as I love driving it made sense – people were always happy to be greeted with my smiley face, even first thing in the morning!
Which reminds me now that the weekend is over I really need to check out sending a parcel to my dad for Father’s Day – comparing couriers online is probably a good idea as I have had many problems with snail mail in the past – the fact it is International post seems to confuse everyone!
Oh, the joys of a Monday morning!
