A Pamper Day Treat…

by S1m

A while ago Heather and I treated ourselves to a pamper session voucher from Wowcher. Due to our busy schedules, it was very hard trying to find a free slot where we could attend together. Today was the day!

Off we toddled to the south of Manchester, in the absolute pouring rain. The weather was so bad that I had to drive in the first lane… something that never happens! We finally arrived and could not wait to get started.

Having enjoyed a mani-pedi – complete with hairy legs on show, a very relaxing facial with no whale music to send us to sleep and eyebrow threading we walked out of the door feeling thoroughly pampered.

The only problem, which for me being a huge nail varnish addict was a huge deal, was the state of the manicure. I cannot say I am impressed and in fact I am looking at taking the colour off and paint my nails myself 🙁 Both mine and Heather’s nails have already chipped and scuffed up – alongside the fact that the manicure wasn’t as neat as I would have liked. In fact even I can paint much neater nails, even with my left hand (I am right handed!).

All in all though it was really enjoyable and lovely to spend time with a fabulous mate. We are already looking into more treat days out and hope to make it a regular occurrence… hopefully treats that also involve a super yummy Afternoon Tea! 🙂

it was a fab day out, despite the shonky nails. I’m rather loving have bright red nails – so glad you talked me into have a colour rather than boring transparent.

Definitely! Everyone needs a little colour in their lives and on their nails 😛 x

Sounds like a lot of fun! Too bad your mani didn’t turn out good though.

It was great fun and we were very relaxed – will be doing my own nails this weekend and have offered to do Heather’s for her also 🙂 x
