Review: Barbie Sisters’ Deluxe Camper

by S1m

It is that time of year again where we are swamped with adverts all relating to one thing… Christmas! My daughter has been pointing certain toys that she would like Father Christmas to leave under the Christmas tree for her. It has been a long couple of months!

So what are the top toys for Christmas 2013? This year, I am not entirely sure, however for girls, you can always ensure Barbie and related items are in the Top Christmas Toys!

We were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to review the latest Barbie Sisters’ Deluxe Camper – an amazing gift for any Barbie fan!

There are no Barbie dolls included with the set but with the 20 or so my daughter already has, these are definitely not necessary!

The set itself splits out into a rather large area, with 25 included pieces to furnish the camper. The car is also detachable for when your child does not want to unleash every piece. There is even room for a Barbie horse which is quite handy!! The box is rather large (even with a carry handle!) so expect to use a lot of wrapping paper on this one.

Everything is extremely pink as you would expect and is a fantastic addition to the Barbie range. A great toy for encouraging role play whether solo or a couple of friends together… or even with Mummy! Hours can easily be whiled away with this toy… meaning peace and quiet over the Christmas period! The fact it is in a portable box also makes it easier to transport to family and friends too!

There is no denying this is a really stylish toy, which has moved on greatly from ‘my day’. I recall a Christmas where my parents hunted high and low for a particular Barbie camping van and eventually found one. Those were the days when you only had shops to buy from – nowadays it’s very easy to sit in the comfort of your own living room and surf the internet. I noticed that Tesco have the Barbie Sisters’ Deluxe Camper available and with the Double Up Exchange on vouchers, it makes it so much better!

This caravan looks ace. I’m impressed by how much it folds out and creates a little play house.

Absolutely! It almost like everything rolled into one! The space for the horse is awesome, great as Liv has one of the horses! Certainly bigger than you would expect and keeps them entertained for a while!
