Oh how I really do need someone to swiftly kick me up the arse! I have totally lost my mojo for anything after a rather tumultuous and ridiculously surreal couple of weeks.
Whether it has something to do with the New Year blues or just simply the fact that I am now a whole year older I am not entirely sure. All I know is I simply cannot get my ass in gear.
Things have been going well on the weight loss front though and I am still maintaining my crazy weight loss even though I am eating slightly more now. I am still not having 3 square meals a day but I am slowly getting there again. Going to the gym on my own was fab the other day – I got to watch the Nadal/Federer tennis match whilst happily pounding away on the treadmill. I do believe that is the only time I have not wanted to get off it, even when I had spent my usual amount of time on there. I miss not having Heather as my gym buddy in the mornings. Heather has recently started to home educate her fabulous kids – a big move and totally something I couldn’t do, so I doff my cap to her!
The weekend was spent drinking… well it was allowed considering it’s only once a year when you celebrate your birthday. Luckily I celebrated with the bestest mates ever… though the stunning and very pregnant Beth was sorely missed.
I am going to attempt to kick it up a notch this week and increase sit ups to 150 a day, obviously that isn’t all in one sitting(!) though I have noticed a slight improvement. Going to the gym and jumping on the bike are definitely things that help so I will definitely make a concerted effort to do more. Hopefully exercise will inspire some creative mojo along the way!!
