If you are looking for food with a difference, then look no further than Pesto (Italian Tapas).
After a rather rocky start with arranging the review due to a certain man being well… just a man really, Heather and I finally enjoyed a rather splendid meal out last week at our local Pesto restaurant in the Trafford Centre – the full review will be going live on Manchester Mummy this week.
The best things you need to know now (as in right this second) are…
Simon our awesome waiter was attentive, funny and had some good recommendations – Heather and I both agreed we could have easily smuggled him out of there with us!
The tomato tapenade… so delicious I had to ask for another pot (and they brought two!). It accompanied the antipasti which is a definite must, to tide you into your tapas choices.
The lemon cheesecake… more about this in the review, but the consensus opinion was that it was the best cheesecake either of us had ever tasted… ever… like EVER!!
The lunch menu at £7.95 for 3 dishes is an absolute bargain – though be warned, you will feel sufficiently stuff afterwards, especially if you have 6 dishes between two people… and an antipasti to start… and the new trio of desserts to share!
I don’t want to go into further details as the review will cover that, but if you have a chance to go – Pesto has my high recommendation!
