I have not written a weight loss post in a while and there is a jolly good reason… it is not going so well!
After a very motivated Easter holiday break, when my daughter was with her father, Heather and I were at the gym for 9am most days. Our bodies ached beyond belief and we could have quite easily had much needed lie in’s. However we were both very determined and our muscles paid for that.
Alongside the exercising also came the drinking and eating. From the Pesto Restaurant Manchester review you can see that we were spoiled with food and unfortunately I have put 4lbs on recently. Not a lot, however enough for me to feel slightly deflated and flumpy again.
My goals this week, besides trying to find new work, are to utilise my bike again every night. I do enjoy it when I hop on and cycle away in front of the TV. It is a great excuse to catch up on the programmes I have missed, whilst losing weight and toning up – a win/win scenario!
To cut down on snacking. I have reverted back to my awful habit of snacking recently… it has nothing to do with the Wonka Creme Brulee bars in my fridge… no Sir, it does not!
I am staying away from alcohol. Surely a total detox will be good for my system and not just my weight loss? I had better stay away from Heather then as she is a ridiculously bad influence.
Being even more active. The nicer weather makes it so much easier just to get out and about in the fresh air, good for the skin, the soul and the figure! It may mean taking my daughter to the play park behind her school… it also means I will get to gossip with the other mums too! This weight loss lark isn’t too shabby actually! 🙂

Awww, shame about the 4lbs, but as you say it’s really not insurmountable. You can lose that in a week :p
Back on the bike!!
I can… just need another kidney infection and then the weight will drop off again! Nothing like living on water for a week 😉
Go for it lovely lady! YOU CAN DO IT!
Thanks lovely, I know I can and with my 30 Day Detox about to start… I will be fighting fit again soon!
