Summer Beauty Must Haves: Part 3

by S1m

Time is ticking on and now you may be wondering what beauty products to pack for holidays. Products that are light, easy to pack but absolute necessities – along with products that can help you prepare for your holidays… so here we are with round up 3!

You want glossy locks on holiday, who doesn’t? Especially when your hair maybe looking tired and slightly dull from chlorine, sea salt and general sun damage. Revlon Style Masters Shine Spray is a very handy, portable size and gives a gentle hold to your style whilst also giving the strands some much needed shine!

Dr. Paw Paw Original Balm (RRP £6.95) is a fantastic all round product – a multi purpose soothing balm, with natural fermented Paw Paw that can be used all over! I have been using it as an actual lip balm recently as it gives a clear shine to my lips but it can also be used on skin along with hair and beauty finishing. I shall be trying it on my hair but it is a great product to use after a day in the sun! Great to keep with you in your bag due to its size!

We all want to smell fresh on holiday and the new Right Guard Total Defence Sensitive – perfect for skin that has been out in the elements! With a very fresh, summer scent the newly launched deodorant fights perspiration, prevents odour, has a long lasting freshness, is gentle on skin after shaving and has an anti-irritation formula.

What about beforehand preparations? We all know we need to prepare the skin before walking out in the glorious sun and PhytoBronz (£17.95 for 30 capsules) is a fantastic and easy way to help you! Take one capsule a day which contains carotenoids, vitamins, precious oils (Argan, Starflower and Sesame) along with Phytoperine. The capsules help to prolong tan and help to prepare and protect the skin from harsh UV rays – clearly sun cream is still required!

It’s all about minitures when travelling, space is limited but you still want to take all your essentials with you. These very cute QVS slanted tip tweezers are ideal, a double pack which includes a minature set – perfect for keeping on top of eyebrows whilst away! I always have to have a nail file with me, just in case and the QVS 3 mini nail shapers pack is ridiculously handy. Separate them into different bags so you always have one on you and with the very cute design you will always manage to find them!

Whether you are venturing away to sunnier climes or having a staycation,  mosquitoes love hot weather and are generally out in force in the evenings. Zap-It are awesome little zappers that provide relief if you have been bitten by one of the pesky bugs. It is really effective at reducing the swelling and itching caused when you have been bitten. Something I now carry with me as I am notorious for being bitten! The Eco Zap-It is a small but effective piezo device that generates a harmless and mild (no stronger than a gentle pinch) low electrical impulse created by crystals (this same technology is commonly used in clocks, lighters and guitar pickups).

Ooh the Zapit looks really helpful – especially with the kids. GG was stung twice by a wasp last summer too so I wonder if it might help with that.
