Christmas: Baker Ross Christmas Crafts And Giveaway

by S1m
Baker Ross

If your house is anything like mine then sequins, cut up pieces of paper and pens without lids, dotted around the floor are a regular occurrence.

My mini me is certainly more creative than I am and loves nothing more than cutting, sticking and making the most obscure ‘things’.

Christmas crafts are always fun to make and even gift to Grandparents and other relatives, it shows a little more thought and is certainly a gift that will be kept forever.

I only became aware of Baker Ross, when putting the Christmas Gift Guide together and already I have fallen in love with their website! There are so many different crafts to choose from, Christma crafts being just a tiny part of their vast range. It was hard to choose what crafts Liv would love to create but we decided upon the Christmas Character Sequin Decoration Kit (£3.99 for a pack of 3 characters) and the Christmas Craft Pack (Was £21.74, now £14.99)  which is huge, bumper pack! Included are: 2 Santas workshop kits, 6 Christmas mosaic coaster kits, 4 Christmas tree kits, 3 Christmas stocking sewing kits, 5 Snowman photo frame kits and 4 wooden keyring & bag dangler kits – definitely lots to keep everyone entertained whilst getting into the Christmas spirit.

Baker Ross

It has been very hard keeping Liv from ripping the packs open and creating everything without me, I know where she gets her impatience from! The kits are really easy to create, you will only require glue to stick down certain decorations. All the pieces are safe for children to work with and the needles required to sew the stockings are thick, sturdy plastic needles.

Baker Ross

Showing a selection of what is available in the bumper pack.

With very easy to follow instructions, children will love creating with Baker Ross packs, I will most definitely be using them again… we are definitely huge fans!

If you would like the chance to win the packs we have been having fun with the past few weeks, simply enter the Sim’s Life, Baker Ross giveaway below!

I didnt make it but I upcycled a chair from freecycle. It had a metal frame and horrible brown seat and back (the kind of chair you get in waiting rooms)

I took the covers off and spray painted the metal frame with gold paint, I then drilled holes in 2 golf balls and sprayed them gold and glued them onto either side of the back rest.

I covered the seat and cushion in a lovely pink and gold floral material and put it all back together and voila I have a mini throne in my room – fit for a queen thats original and quirky and no one else has the same 😀

This is really hard for me to answer because being creative is my thing and I have made so much stuff over the years from huge drawings and paintings to patchwork blankets, clothes, greetings cards, scrapbooks, art journals, upcycling, you name it I have had a go I I really can’t pick the one that was most creative but the one I enjoyed doing a lot was a canvas painting of a tree with lots of buttons glued on and I love it because I get lots of lovely comments about it 🙂
