Weight Loss Wednesday Week 7… admittedly I slightly caved this week and had exactly what I wanted. Being childfree for a week is a luxury I do not get often, so I really had to take the bull by the horns and enjoy myself!
I have easily been persuaded to have takeaways, have an extra bottle of Peroni on what I have already had and more and I have damn well enjoyed it. I’ve needed it – both my body and mind needed some time off from all the water and calorie counting. Though, I did walk around Manchester City Centre twice… slightly pissed, but still… twice. Just wish I had been wearing my FitBit, but it didn’t go with my outfit!!
Now this is the part when normally I would drill down into what I have eaten and how much exercise I have done. Well… truth be told, I’ve probably halved the time I usually jump on my bike, only today just been back to the gym and been eating lots of lovely savoury goodies. Though, back on track now… I took myself off to the gym this morning and smashed my Couch 2 5K day, oh yes! My legs are feeling it now but I powered through, adjusted my speed slightly to 8.5kph and then upped it again to 9kph for the final running block and carried on. I may have been sweating buckets but hey, the two fitties on the cross trainers in front of my kept going… 😉
I managed to complete my gym routine without bumping into the previously mentioned numpty newbie, though I had attended slightly later than normal. I really must go at that time again!
Alas… all this means I have put 1lb on… am I bothered… I care not a jot! Because I have had fun and isn’t that what it is all about? I know I can get back on it now knowing I have had a refresh and that I need to go to the gym more as it seems some new fitties have signed up!
You all know I love to go on the scales everyday… well I have seen the scales go down into my next stone bracket and then shoot up again. Totally bittersweet, but I seriously cannot stop jumping on the scales!
