Liv is at the really awesome age where she is writing all the time. In fact, our house became a Chelsea house over the weekend as Liv decided to write notes informing the world how much she loves Chelsea… she knows which side her bread is buttered on! 😉
When My Secrets Diary and Activity Book from Interplay arrived, I knew that Liv would be absolutely besotted with it! The idea of having a special diary – with a lock and key – which she can write notes in and keep away from prying eyes.
Within 5 minutes though, Liv was already in tears due to the lock appearing to break. It is slightly fiddly, so be warned, that you do need to use the lock with care and also take note of where the two keys are! Very handy having a spare – just in case!
All the included pages in the ring binder type diary and so colourful – vibrant and engaging with lovely little doodles, all the things that appeal to Liv
Each month has a full page dedicated to the days of the month – which you yourself write the days in for, meaning the diary isn’t year specific, so can be purchased at any time of the year. The pages can easily be moved around with the use of the ring binder.
With extra pages per month, the activity side of the diary kicks in with spaces for special memories about the month to be included, challenges such as ticking off whether you have found ‘A yellow flower’ in the month of April. Allowing you to stick what you have found in the diary to keep safe and look back on in the future.
The My Secrets Diary and Activity book contains:
- 1 x Printed 2 ring binder
• 1 x Padlock
• 1 x Zip closure wallet
• 2 x Sticker Sheets
• Set of Page Dividers
• 80 Printed Pages
• Printed Sleeve
Liv has already filled birthday details for EVERYONE in the diary… I am hoping this means she will not actually forget mine… will see how she gets on with it! Totally getting the concept of the secret diary aspect, Liv is now very careful with the lock and so far so good.
When Liv first flipped through the diary, she asked me what her email address was – this did shock me slightly. At the tender age of 6, she does not have an email address, who is she going to email? So I managed to get around this by stating she doesn’t need an email address at the moment and when she is older, she will thank me for not having to wade through spam from such a young age!
Priced at £7.99, the My Secrets Diary and Activity Book can be purchased directly from Interplay. Suitable for children aged 4+ and is a wonderful gift to give, at any time of the year, especially for girls.
