Week 16 of Weight Loss Wednesday… who knew it would last this long hey?! Check out Weight Loss Wednesday Week 15 or fast forward to Weight Loss Wednesday Week 17 for a progress update!

I will hold my hands up and admit I am flagging now. The ‘want’ of jumping on the bike 3-4 times a day has waned and instead of eating 3 sensible meals a day I would rather skip breakfast and have one and a half meals a day. Terrible I know, though the one thing that has stayed on track is my gym routine, I’ve even added more weights to my sessions. Which has resulted in a noticeable protruding collarbone… which would be cool if I could shake my ass.

With a boost being needed to keep the momentum going… (35lbs to go!) I made a really random decision over the weekend. Weekends generally aren’t a good time for me to come up with a plan, I should know this from previous experience.  I purchased Charlotte Crosby’s 3 Minute Belly Blitz. I know, I know, how could I? But seriously, something needs to be re-jigged and the butt and belly reduced!

Things have to step up a gear now though as amazing parcels arrived this week, meaning I can finally get outside running!

The stunning Suunto Ambit 3 Run GPS Watch – now I can calculate how far I have run and how long it has taken. Just hoping that it has a jet propulsion button somewhere. There will be posts on the Run GPS Watch and how the #Ambit3 is helping me train!

My number. Very scared. It is real. I am doing this. Help!

Gym sessions have been great, eating has been hit and miss and I wasn’t feeling positive about weight loss yet this week I managed to lose 1lb! Taking my total weight loss to 1 stone and 7lbs – get in!! Pretty awesome considering I did have a steak butty lunch (with a pint) whilst sitting in a pub garden with the lovely The Brick Castle, Red Rose Mummy and That Lancashire Lass. It was gym day and quite honestly, I could have eaten a scabby horse, anyone else feel like that when they have been running? Learning to lose weight, yet enjoy yourself at the same time is a very fine line to find and this weight loss journey is a definite learning curve for me with food and my attitude towards it.

Oh yes, it is specifically for running, however other options can be added to it via the Suunto software and included cable.

I’m the same re food and exercise. I try to exercise on the same days/times to make myself do it. Food wise I keep letting the treats slip in, it is so hard to find a happy balance isn’t it. ps I have the 3 minute belly blitz and actually enjoy doing it 🙂

Ohhh you are the first person I know who has it and has used it! Fab, will definitely pop it in later and give it a go! I am a huge fan of going to the gym first thing – have tried later on in the afternoon and have lost all motivation by that point – however gym first thing keeps me pumped all day! 🙂 x

I am just using a pedometer but this watch looks very good. On the food side I just keep my sweet intake on the lower side and less carbs.

My problem is that I do love bread too much. I have a freezer full of Weight Watchers food so need to get back on that and take it easy in order to lose weight for the summer!

I love what you said about learning to lose weight and enjoying yourself at the same time. I do agree with you, it’s a fine line staying hyped about the whole process. But hey! You’re doing awesome so far! 16 weeks!! Hang in there 😀

Thank you Danessa! Yes, it is vital you find the fine line – weight loss can easily become an obsession but it can also feel like a chore for the wrong reasons. Will definitely be keeping on in there!

The review will be coming soon, don’t you worry! It has only just arrived and as yet have not had chance to use it – bear with me! I am keeping on just need a little shake up – the GPS watch is going to change things as I will be able to get out and about and enjoy the lovely weather and scenery more now! 🙂

It maybe worthwhile to have a little change or alter something to keep going. It’s hard but I’m much closer to my target than I was at the start of the year!

The Garmin 10 is cool, looks pretty and has all the info – the Suunto Ambit 3 is much more advanced though – you will have to come back for the review! 😉

The Suunto Ambit 3 is for review – Suunto have faith in me to get this right and run my butt off!

I have been religiously exercising in Feb until work and travel got in the way in March. I am slowly going back into a regular exercise routine. I have yet to adjust my food intake. So far, I am happy with the result.

I am yet to find the motivation to exercise, and I have just eaten some chocolate fudge but the attitude to food has definitely changed and I’m starting to notice my body shape changing.

Never heard of the 3 min belly blitz! You’ll have to do a review 😉

In my case, I cut out the JUNK FOOD and the DESSERTS.and got up off my butt and I walk every day.

Well done to you! I think cutting out smoking and drinking has been enough of a shock to my system… so if I want a piece of Lemon Drizzle cake, I shall. Just means I need to work a little harder in the gym! 😉

You are doing great. 16 weeks is a long time to stick to it. I can’t even manage 16 mins at the minute. It is difficult to go to the pub and be good though. 1lb off better than one on!

My favorite workout routine is going on a bike ride to warm up and then doing crunches. I love being able to swim at night the same day.

I never thought I could get addicted to working out but it looks like I’m not the only one. If I don’t strength train it’s like my body starts itching. I just have to squat and pump!!!

I fully get what you’re saying, everything takes time to do properly sometimes a short cut would be nice, at least for a boost. I do sometimes go down the route of having two meals at the weekend due to getting up a little later I prefer to go for a brunch, I used to try and squeeze and extra meal in but it always felt stuffed down!

I think it is so tough to lose weight and still eat all the food you enjoy. What I’ve learned is that there’s some food that I thought I enjoyed that actually I didn’t. It was all just for comfort. I do still crave all the bad stuff but less so now. I have my eye on the goal and can’t slip. 😉
