Weight Loss Wednesday Linky

Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Week 23!

Thank you to those that linked up last week and to all of those who have joined us throughout this 23 week journey so far… almost half way through the year!

This past week has been a good one in terms of weight loss. As you may be aware, I am currently on the New You Plan VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet), all seems to be going really well and the first week’s weight loss has really spurred me on. You can read about my first week on the New You Plan and catch up with my weight loss so far!

Not only am I noticing a difference but so are the people around me and it is lovely to hear compliments, it perks you up and keeps you going. The best part is my hips, as you all know they are my problem area but currently seem to be shifting. Although I am still the same size on the bottom, I have noticed that my bra size has gone down… just in the back and not the cup fortunately (whoop!) but this has to be a good sign!

Roll on the day when I can go shopping and treat myself to some new clothes to show off all my hard work so far!

New You Plan
Chicken Noodle Curry Bites – made by cooking in the oven.

I visited the gym yesterday and am going again today to keep momentum flowing and tone up whilst my body is losing weight at a quicker rate. Drinking lots of water is easy for me and I could quite happily drink my chilled bottled water all day – the way I keep us is by checking how many empties I have on the side… currently my blue bin is almost at full capacity, but there is no stopping me! I am trying to only stand on the scales once a week to measure weight loss… bring on Monday!

A few weeks ago, I found myself in a real lull. After such a great weight loss so far this year, I lost my way slightly and couldn’t find the boost I needed. The New You Plan has come at the right time to keep me going on my weight loss journey. I’m slightly nervous about the re-feed process however there are some really handy hints on the New You Plan site and I will of course be keeping up with drinking lots of water – the difference in my skin alone is fantastic!

I’m halfway through my journey now, with another 2 stone to go… this WILL be shifted by the end of the year – I’m back to being very determined again!

How are you getting on this week? Have you found the boost you need to keep you going?

Well done chick! You are definitely getting there! I always feel better after a workout – but maybe shouldn’t have done 2 gym days on the trot, rest day tomorrow! Yes, the hips are finally moving after trying every other option – would be nice to finally drop a dress size!!x

Those curry bites do not look too attractive from the photo. But curiously I want to taste them! The name sounds tasty.

drinking more water is really good for us, not just to get better skin but also help with getting rid of water retention. but over drinking is not good either. do take care not to overdose on water too!

Sounds like you are doing great with the plan. I am not in any program, but so far I am also doing good losing the pounds a little at a time. I drink lots and lots of water, too.

Yes you are right, when you are in a diet …drinking water is so easy! I mean you feel light and you feel good.

I’m currently in Bangkok, and it’s totally a trip with FOOD. Food-filling trip makes me feel soooooo guilty!

I guess it comes with any weight loss plan that you lose motivation. You just have to find ways to remotivate yourself.

That looks so yummy. It is wonderful to hear you say that you are determined to go through your fitness program. My favorite workout routine involves swimming. I love to swim a lot.
