With Race For Life Manchester 2015, only 2 weeks and 5 days away, the heat is now most definitely on to get my ever shrinking backside moving even further.
My weight loss has certainly helped somewhat as I suffer much less with knee pains, in fact I had almost forgotten I can suffer with my knee when running.
Whatever I try though, I do not seem to be able to get my breathing technique spot on and I find it is this that makes me slow down as opposed to feeling tired, my legs feeling tired and sluggish or my knee when it kicks in.
Any tips would be very much appreciated at this stage!
With the help of Scottish Power and their High 5 Wave campaign, my sponsorship took a huge leap, for which I am very grateful! We received a rather large, giant, green foam finger, which Liv has now commandeered to high 5 people with and other goodies to help us spread the good word about the campaign.
To date, Scottish Power have helped raise over £6 million for Cancer Reseach UK, I believe they deserve a high 5 themselves. The continued campaign is hoping to raise even more. With photobooths at the Race For Life events, make sure you High 5 counts! High 5 marquees will be located at the London Blackheath 5th July, Manchester 12th July, and Cambridge 19th July Race For Life events so make sure you head on over!
Brioche Pasquier are a huge hit in our household, you can always count on them to fill a void until meal time, that’s if there are ever any left for me! They very kindly sent us some of their rather tasty, new Brioche Pasquier super cereals range. I managed to take a picture of the super cereals range and very pink t-shirt before Liv ate them all!
Brioche Pasquier are the Champion sponsor of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life 2015 series. Last year they raised £20,000 for Cancer Research UK through their Raise Some Dough promotion. This Year Brioche Pasquier are offering 400 free entries for Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life series. Brioche Pasquier want to showcase your best moments for the chance to win a £500 donation to a Race for Life JustGiving page
