Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Week 25!

This week… it’s all about me and the incredible 2.5 stone loss so far this year!

So far, in the last 3 weeks I have lost a total of 1 stone and 4lbs (18lbs) on the New You Plan. I may have blipped slightly and could have lost more by now but keep getting back on track. Try and find me a diet that will enable you to lose weight so quickly, that is totally safe and offers you all your necessary daily nutrients and is just so bloomin’ tasty!

With the new pack I have found myself experimenting more with the foods. Last week I mentioned the Spicy Noodle Nosh and this week I have a fabulous picture of what I was able to nosh on this week. Made with 2 packs, simply add 50ml of water to the packs, microwave for 40-50 seconds, let it cool slightly and then shape into balls. Place on a tray and cook in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes. With a spicy kick and a bhaji bite look, they really do hit the spot.

Working out at the gym is going really well, this week I even braved my new lycra running pants from Primark! This weight loss has seriously recharged my confidence, I would never have worn the most unforgiving material known to man before! I have even started chatting to people at the gym (mainly men and old women) and even had a wink off a bloke today. I put it down to the lycra… alas the 70 year old man always seems to be there when I go, so just familiarity!

I am sat here writing this post in amazement, The New You Plan has given me a new lease on life – and anyone who knows me, would know I don’t come out with shizzle like that very often! I have not been this weight for so long, not fit in a clothing size smaller for so long. The only downside to it all… you simply cannot take it in.

As daft as it sounds, people may comment ‘you have lost weight’, ‘you are looking fab’, but until you actually see it for yourself and properly digest it, you cannot notice it. I am sure there will be a lot of people nodding their heads with me right now…

So… this is me… taken today by the rather fabulous Jenny who keeps me on track with black coffee and gossip! (I never do full body shots!!)x

Betty and the Bumps June 24, 2015 - 3:10 pm

I hear what you’re saying about how you could’ve lost more if you’d been totally totally strict, but to lose so much in such a short space of time is still pretty amazing. I have blipped loads. I’ve got three play dates in four days and there’s ALWAYS coffee and cake so I’m not sure how I’ll sidestep that! But I think the New You plan is a bit of a learning curve and I’m finding I’m getting used to eating less as time goes on. x

S1m June 25, 2015 - 11:52 am

Thanks chick! Hope you manage to sidestep the blips – this diet really is worth it and clearly it works… the hips are going!! 🙂
Definitely a learning curve and will certainly retrain how you look at food. Albeit I am stocking up on refeed food, nothing is actually appealing at the moment, I am enjoying the diet too much! 🙂

Is that what they called FRIED NOODLES? Hmmm….love to try this recipe. And good thing that in spite of the negative info about noodles, it is also a healthy dish.

Deborah Caudill June 30, 2015 - 4:18 am

You look fabulous! Thanks for the motivation.

Right now, I am recuperating from 2 surgeries regarding tibia/fibula break and broken hip and hip replacement. Therefore, I am practicing walking again and doing leg lifts, as well as sitting down and using bands on upper body. It is very slow going but I gained weight dud to the fact that I couldn’t put weight on either leg.
