Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky Week 28!

How is everyone this week?

We have had some great achievements in the last couple of weeks with Hannah from Budding Smiles competing in the Nottingham 10k and Kathryn from Is It Wine O’Clock Yet? completing 3 runs in 3 weekends… and even little old me completing the Manchester Race For Life 5k last weekend!

It’s amazing to see such amazing success from everyone – it keeps you motivated to keep going.

I have been in an anti-climatic mood this week, but have persuaded a friend to run the Race For Life with me next year, so at least something is in the diary so to speak and I have something to train for. I shall of course be wanting to beat this year’s time!

Weight Loss wise, I have not been on the scales this week. I decided to give myself a couple of days off for a treat and am now back on the New You Plan diet as of today. I am still fitting into my size smaller clothes with ease, so I am guessing any gain is not as bad as I could have expected!

Workout wise, exactly the same. I have totally given myself a couple of days off, except for dog walks, but it has been a really busy week anyway. Besides, I thought that by going on Friday, it should have given the gym time enough to fix the 5 out of 12 treadmills that are broken. Maybe I should be looking into a new gym… it is on my to do list!

This next week should be interesting, I am hoping to break the 3 stone barrier and some and be just 1 little stone away from my initial target for this year!

I should have mentioned sooner but I did recently purchase another 3 weeks on the New You Plan as I am really impressed with the results so far – clearly I would never have gone out in lycra beforehand! There was a slight problem with my order in the fact some bars were missing (Chocolate Cookie Cream bars… they are my absolute favourite!), within 5 minutes of emailing, the lovely Grant phoned me to arrange delivery of the missing bars – which then arrived the next day, along with a personal note. The customer service from the New You Plan is second to none, absolutely faultless and it’s not just for me because I have reviewed the plan – they are fantastic with everyone on the plan! More companies should take note!

Anyway, as always, I have digressed… how have you got on this week?

Wow, sounds like you’re doing really well! I’m late to the weight loss Wednesday party, but have recently started trying to drop some dress sizes so hope to find motivation by joining in with the linky!

I think it’s a good idea sometimes not to weigh yourself if you’re sure you’ve put weight on, because the reading on the scales can really affect your attitude and make you think “Oh, what’s the point”. It really demotivates me so I avoid getting on the scales if I feel bloated or heavier than normal. x

Congratulations on the 5k race for life. I did one too recently and it was such a great atmosphere as well as a lovely race. I’m also hoping to do one again next year. #bloggingtojogging
