Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Week 30!

What a crazy old week it has been, for all the best reasons ever!

Firstly… I have managed to get to the gym a couple of times… ahhhh it feels so nice to get back into my routine again. Who knew I would ever miss the gym as much as I did! Whilst there the gym manager who I had flounced at a couple of weeks ago due to 5 out of the 12 treadmills being out of order, informed me that EVERYTHING in the gym is being replaced and there will be new treadmills. I do not think I have ever beamed as much in my life, I literally could have kissed him, instead I settled for patting his arm, with the retort that I should flounce more often! 😉

Eating this week has been a bit strange, due to trying to continue with the New You Plan as best I can whilst juggling my rather hectic social life at the moment. Never has my schedule been so crazy. Though even with a probably 2000 calorie milkshake plus a few naughty snacks, I have still managed to lose 2lbs. Taking my weight loss even further to reach my 3 stone target… just one more lowly stone to go and then I have reached my initial ‘happy’ target. I am currently at my lowest weight in a long while and shopping for clothes in a size that still seems impossible to me… however losing weight does have its downsides… as on a shopping trip this morning Primarni didn’t appear to stock my size… in anything… assholes!

I tried the Galloway Method yesterday on the treadmill of running for 3 minutes and walking for 1 minute… it was all going so well until I did my usual trick of competing against myself and hitched the speed up to 10.5kph. Yep, totally not sustainable for an hour… but hey, with all the training, maybe next year.

Several people have been attacked recently on my running route near my house and due to the rain, my running has been limited to the gym. Probably a good thing really, I cannot imagine I would be in the mood when confronted with a scally on my run!!

I am totally in this bubble of oblivious bliss at the moment, quite sickening really, but very sweet and if only smiling helped you lose weight!! 🙂 After a trip to the cinema last night, with Mr. Purple, to watch SouthPaw (no popcorn peeps!), I have now decided I want to take up boxing… this is next on my list!

Awww epic news on the FlipBelt – what colour did you choose? You totally forget it is there when you are running, it is very comfortable! 🙂 x

I love a bit of boxing – and am pleased to say after a 6-month break due to an Achilles injury I went back to BodyCombat this morning. I love the punching and kicking and always imagine it would kick in if I did get attacked on a run (that’s what I tell myself anyway…). #BloggingToJogging
