Welcome to the Weight Loss Wednesday Linky week 31!
Thank you to all those who linked up last week! It’s great to see how everyone is managing to cope with the summer holidays – workout time is limited due to the children being at home but several bloggers have been using the fantastic new Mummy Workouts. Online workouts that you can partake in, in the comfort of your own home… perfect for those with limited free time.
Not exactly something I have had to worry about recently as I have managed a couple of gym sessions this past week, learning that I really should whack my phone on flight mode to ignore messages that come through! It appears that euphoria from a 2K PB and dripping sweat make it really hard to understand messages!
I cannot say my eating habits have been orthodox recently and it wasn’t until Monday evening, that I realised I had not cooked once since Liv had been away – I have been whisked out for a lovely Mexican meal date (I chose the Chicken Fajita Salad!) and descended upon everyone else for meals when I’ve been eating. It was either down to rather impeccable timing or people were making me eat.
With a hectic social life recently, the New You Plan was not at the forefront of my mind, however it does appear as if my relationship with food has changed and I am only eating when actually hungry. Despite tucking into a volcano of a roast on Sunday, I have still managed to lose 2lbs this week, leaving me only 12lbs to go until I reach target.
It has been an extraordinary ride, starting the year hoping I would reach my target but to actually hit mid-year and be in touching distance of my target is astounding.
For the next week, I plan to get back on track with the New You Plan for the final push and get my butt to the gym most days to help tone up and attain some more PB’s!
