Welcome to the Weight Loss Wednesday Linky Week 37!
A huge thank you to all those who linked up last week – you are all rocking it in the run up to Christmas. It has been really interesting reading everyone’s progress this year and there is one thing that springs out at me… the fact that Slimming World really does work and all the food that everyone makes is rather scrummy looking. It’s something I know I keep saying I need to look into, but really I do!
You are probably used to the fact every week of my life is as crazy as the next and no two are ever the same. This week has really been no different!
With a lovely restaurant review at the weekend (Las Iguanas, Trafford Centre, Manchester), I knew I was never going to be starting back on the diet and went out to simply enjoy myself, not worry about anything and enjoy a family meal out with Liv.
So, I ate and drank this…
A good walk around the Trafford Centre after the delicious meal certainly helped (I pointed us in the wrong direction *ahem*) and I felt less guilty about the splurge.
I was all set for starting back on the New You Plan on Monday and along with a fantastic gym visit where I increased the gradient I was running at even further, I was all set for smashing Day 1 again. Until a bad influence came over with temptation in the form of a bottle of wine.
Day 1 was to restart on Tuesday, until I was taken out for a cute lunch and then a lovely friend of mine called over for dinner with this…
Today I have woken up with a throat that feels like it’s on fire and a neck that is far too achey. I will be starting back on the New You Plan later this week and my plan is to get back to the gym tomorrow and work off some of this week’s delights. In the meantime I really need to stay away from temptation! I had started with a weight loss of 4lbs this last week, taking me to 3lbs shy of my lowest weight yet this year… I haven’t bothered with the scales today… I shall worry about it next week!
