Receiving surprise parcels through the post is always rather exciting, especially when the package contains the latest products from the almighty Batiste range!
I was converted many years ago to Batiste… surely the best dry shampoo ever! Perfect for any woman on the go… especially mum’s attempting to sparkle for the school run, a can of the dry shampoo is an absolute must. Except in my house I have a zillion cans all dotted around!
Not simply for disguising unwashed hair, the new range includes ‘Shield My Locks’ Heat and Shine Spray and ‘Oomph My Locks’ XXL Volume Spray, all part of their extensive Stylist range.
The ‘Shield My Locks’ Heat and Shine spray is absolutely divine, the fragrance is stunning, vibrant and makes you want to keep spraying it on your hair! You simply spray onto dry hair before styling with heat from straighteners or curling tongs. The finished result is sleek and silky hair with a gorgeous scent, which thanks to the Keratin and Inca Inchi adds moisture too.
The ‘Oomph My Locks’ XXL Volume Spray is awesome and makes my Simba like mane even more impressive. Expect your locks to be fully heightened with this instant backcomb in a bottle!
Available from all good stockists… including Boots. Tesco and Asda.
A mini tube of Arm and Hammer Advance White Baking Soda Toothpaste arrived at the right time too… just as I was struggling to squeeze the remnants of my old tube onto my brush. The Advance White Baking Soda Toothpaste has lasting freshness as baking soda neutralises odour-causing compounds for long-lasting fresh breath protection. I really am quite fussy about toothpaste, especially due to the amount of black coffee I drink and found this to be quite nice on my teeth, cannot say they were sparkly white but it did leave quite a nice taste.
The Arm and Hammer brand can be found in most supermarkets and chemists, including Boots, with an RRP of £2.60 for a 75ml tube.
