With only 13 Friday’s until Christmas Day, the countdown is already on and the shops are already showcasing their Christmas Gift Ideas… which is slightly shocking on all accounts. How can you get ahead of the pack and fully prepare in time though, without breaking the bank?

Here are some handy hints to bear in mind when preparing for Christmas:

Start your shopping early to be a savvy shopper this Christmas – quite an easy task actually! You will find that shops have mini sales on items at the moment in order to make room for their Christmas selection. Shops such as Boots are keen on this and really good bargains can be had by being savvy and not waiting until nearer Christmas to start stocking up. I have already been quietly stocking up on goodies to put away for Christmas, though will no doubt have forgotten where I hid everything by the time December comes around!

Shop online – not only is shopping online convenient and far easier than walking into a store to hustle with crowds, personally I find shopping online much cheaper as you can generally find a discount code for most stores, even if it is just free delivery, it all adds up! There really is no greater gift than treating yourself though and with my rapid weight loss I really need to stock up on new clothes. I am heartbroken that my beloved Crew Clothing jumpers are a tad too large these days, until I came across VoucherCodeGator (love sites like!). I have managed to find some super Crew Clothing discount codes alongside other clothing brands, so may have to treat myself!

Attend Christmas Fairs – for something a little different and a unique gift idea. Generally fairs offer lots of handcrafted items made with love which make perfect, thoughtful gifts. Fairs are great for winning cheeky bottles of wine and splurging on yummy Christmas food to get you fully in the spirit!

Peruse Charity shops – lots of fantastic bargains can be found in Charity shops, at a bargain price and you are making a difference too.

Do you have any savvy shopping ideas for Christmas shopping? When do you start stocking up?
