Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky week 38! Only 13 weeks and 2 days until Christmas now!
Thank you to all for linking up last week, it’s great to read how you are getting and nice to see some familiar faces back in the mix too!
This week has not gone to plan at all and I’ve probably drunk more in a week than I have all year… however, we did attend a music festival at the weekend, which was awesome. It would have been wrong not to enjoy ourselves… even if it did end up with me hi-fiving every person there!
Starting back on the New You Plan diet
Starting back on the New You Plan on Monday was actually really rather refreshing and I have slipped into it an awful lot easier than expected. The scales are slipping down again and with a 3lb loss in two days already, it is spurring me on. I am only 3lbs away from my lowest weight so far this year. Even with the drinking and eating, I must have been doing something right.
After a lovely phone call with Jodie, the nutritionist from XLS Medical earlier in the week, I feel more clear about what I want to achieve and how I am going to achieve them. I realised I have been setting a lot of challenges for myself this year and need to realise that there is still time yet and I will do it so long as I remain motivated.
Gym visits help weight loss
A couple of trips to the gym have paid off and it’s nice to know the new equipment will be installed this weekend… I cannot wait for next Monday morning. If you have been keeping up with Weight Loss Wednesday, you will know that I love my gym time – my time away from the world, switching off from it all – however the treadmills this year have been the bane of my life… not anymore!
Ending week 38 #WeightLossWednesday on a high
So here is to the weigh in next week in which I hope I will have surpassed my weight loss so far this year and be able to see the light at the end of a very long journey!
How are you all getting on this week?
I believe that we need to exercise, eat healthy and drink plenty of water to maintain a healthy body. Not only do we need to stay in shape we need to take care of our long term self.
I have set a new fitness goal! I have never in my life been able to do a pull-up and I would like to be able to do it. My gym has a machine that allows me to take a little of my own body weight off and do pull-ups so I will be using that 2-3 times a week and trying to use less and less weight until I can do a pull-up unaided.
Wow that is great well done! x
Awesome; not only have you managed to have some fun and enjoy yourself, you’ve managed to keep your weight loss up too! That’s great going!
Wow 3lb in 2 days is fab – no wonder it’s so motivating ! Fingers crossed you’ll blast through your target next week 🙂 Love the photo !!
I tired and failed with VLCD plans, the losses are great but I was soon hungry all the time, but 3lb in 2 days is fab
Oh wow hun, to be at your lowest weight must be quite a motivator! You can do it I’m sure. xx
