How are you all doing this week? Many thanks to all those who linked up last week – you rock!

Well, I am going straight in this week with the fact that I am still the same weight as I was last week. This does not bother me in the slightest – I’ve not really been training (I don’t actually know what I am training for anyway!) even though the new gym equipment is now in place, I have been eating out with friends, enjoyed a large tray of nachos at the cinema and basically enjoyed myself… there may have been a bacon butty too.

I’ve lost 3 and half stone this year. I think that allows me the opportunity to take it easy, so I am not stressing. It’s Day 2 back on the diet now and clearly last week I wasn’t in the right frame of mind, this week I am.

I’ve started pulling out clothes I purchased many moons ago, saving them for the day when I can actually fit in them – yes, I am random, I know! So today, I am wearing a brand new Quiksilver jumper that I have had for about 6 years, with the tag on. That one day, always does happen!

I seriously need to go through my wardrobe and drawers and actually find out what other treats I have hidden away, that I can finally dust off and wear.

Buddy Band 2

This week I am putting the Activ8RLives Buddy Band 2 tracker to the test, the latest in their extensive range of fitness related trackers. Anyone who has kept up to date with Weight Loss Wednesday will be aware that I do need a tracker in my life, mainly to calculate steps taken on a daily basis… but it really does motivate me and keep me pushing forward. That 10,000 steps a day is the main aim and it will be great to finally get back on track with pushing the limits. The love the fact there are 3 different coloured bands (pink, blue, black) included with the Buddy Band 2, I can coordinate with my mood on the day!

So glad you’re not beating yourself up for having a week off, you’re so right that you deserve to enjoy yourself.
I keep pondering getting a Fitbit or similar but I honestly don’t think it would motivate me, I would probably use it for a few days and then it would gather dust, so I wont be getting one, at least not yet!

I absolutely love my Fitbit and always get my 10’000 a day now, so I am pondering increasing my goal

I had a similar week and am taking it as par for the course – we can’t be amazing every week ! And you DEFINITELY deserve a week off – you’ve come so far 🙂

I have a Fitbug but it ends up annoying me because I never hit my targets because it constantly moves the goalposts when you do hit them. I’m at about 12,000 per day average – often have 16,000 a day – and it STILL tells me I only hit some of my targets and could try harder ! lol

Well done on having a week off to enjoy yourself, so many people beat theirselves up over being naughty but we’re only human and we deserve a break now & again!
Well done on fitting into some of your ‘one day’ clothes, I think every girl has those!

I have to say I admire your commitment to your weight loss journey… I’m really struggling this week I’ve not done any work outs yet except for an hour’s walk with my son and a 20 minute walk to shops and back with the hubby and boy, and I eaten way too much junk. And I’ve not done anything to earn it. I use a Polar Women’s FT7 Heart Rate Monitor and Sports Watch to track my runs/workouts. It’s fantastic.

Good for you, you’ve done so well! I’ve used both the fitbit and fuelband so looking forward to reading how you get on with the Buddy Band 2.

I am liking the Buddy Band 2, I love the fact it has a time feature on it and therefore acts as a watch at the same time too! Very easy to link up with your phone via bluetooth for all the stats, no having to faff about with cables to sync – well worth looking into!xx

Wow, 3.5 stone is an amazing achievement, well done you! You must feel so motivated by that and you are obviously committing yourself. I’m glad you had a week off, sometimes it’s important to just recuperate a bit and have a bit of time to yourself #bloggingtojogging x
