Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky – week 43!
Bravo to all those who are sticking on in there! When you document the year week by week it is the most random thing… for one, you find yourself thinking ‘is it really time to write WLW again?’ as the time really does fly by. Though on the other hand… due to the journey being weight loss related, it also seems to drag – is anyone else with me there in that pondering moment?
Well… I gave up! After all the talk of moderation last week, I gave up on Friday. However for good reason – I think almost hitting the deck several times is good enough reason!
I had all the grand plans of what days to decorate my living room – then everything arrived at the same time later than expected – so in order to enjoy my child free week, I attempted to do everything at once – on top of a day out where I had forgotten to take a New You Plan bar with me… dizziness and exhaustion mixed together are not a nice combination… so I ate… and then carried on painting till 11pm.
In my mind the effort I was putting into painting would outweigh any calories I ate. Exercise doesn’t have to be in the form of a workout at the gym you know! 😉
Since then I have been constantly in and out, which is the normal pattern when Liv isn’t here. I like to keep busy(ish) and see people otherwise I go stir crazy.
I’m not constantly eating which is what I would have done last year, I am too busy and preoccupied and it’s easy just to eat if I feel hungry as opposed to set meals. I’m still 5lbs away from target, there is just something about it that doesn’t bother me. I’ve realised I am much more confident in myself (watch out world!) and the fact I am pansying about over the last 5lbs doesn’t concern me… if I knew those lbs would come directly off my rear end, I’d be on it. Though I am happy at the moment… isn’t that the ultimate goal?!
