Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky Week 44!
How are we all doing this week?
Well after all the decorating and enjoying half term… and then all the Halloween treats, I am back on track and back at the gym. It’s all about milestones this week as opposed to weight loss.
My goals I had set were to get back on the New You Plan and get my butt down to the gym again. Both of which I have achieved! I am even slowly getting to grips with the new gym equipment and have a new favourite machine. Simply known as ‘The Rower’ it works my arms and works them well… like some really mean Swedish masseuse or something (I am not stating all Swedish masseurs are mean!).Fits of giggles – but there is the dress as proof I wore one!
Things are actually quite positive at the moment, which is spurring me on. I even wore a dress on Halloween, a recent treat to myself for coming so far and revelled in compliments for the evening. Anyone who knows me, knows I live in jeans. I have my favourite pairs and those are what I live in. Having said that, this morning I have shoe-horned myself into a pair of Primark Skinny jeans! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would buy Primark jeans, let alone Skinny jeans! I say shoehorned, I actually need a belt as I need to keep pulling them up!
My neighbour has just stopped me and said I have transformed, I am a totally different person. Which is awfully kind and compliments do keep you going. I think of the ‘old me’ as someone who has totally left the building… the new me is much more confident and daring… and wears Primark Skinny jeans.
My week is free until the weekend so I have a straight run on the New You Plan. A few more gym visits thrown in and I should finally… finally… finally be at target. Events, occasions and reasons to eat have just got in the way recently but in the final haul towards Christmas, it is to be expected.
