Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky Week 46!
A huge thank you to everyone who commented on last week’s post – both Beth and I were really touched by all the well wishes and support. The greatest thing about blogging is knowing that there is always an army behind you, willing to support you, so thank you everyone.
I have been lax on replying and commenting recently, forgive me – I have that in hand as a job tomorrow. I haven’t forgotten about you all!xx
Things are going really well at the moment and albeit the scales tell me tha I am now 7lbs away from my target weight, I am fluctuating by 3lbs, I am happy!
I am sitting here, writing this Weight Loss Wednesday post after hitting the gym and enduring a seriously hot guy, making questionable noises on all the weights and using his top to wipe away the sweats. Yes. this is already a good day! 😉
If you have been a regular follower of Weight Loss Wednesday you will be aware that I have a love/hate relationship with food. I can quite happily go without just in order for me to enjoy a nice meal out or a larger meal in general. It appears that being on this diet has really retrained my outlook on what I am eating and portion control – maybe a little too extreme and I have been told off for it but it works for me and I do not feel I am going without. Clearly it is no something I condone though!
So, for the moment, I am content, the numbers on the scales do not bother me anymore. I’ve come to realise it is now all about how I feel and how I rock it. A weight loss journey isn’t just about losing weight, you need to retrain your habits and more importantly you need to learn to love yourself and rock your inner and outer self.
At the start of the year, I would never have dreamed of going to the gym in lycra… now I totally rock it. I am there for a reason, I am working damn hard and no-one bats an eyelid! I am ending the year in such a different place than I started and really it hasn’t taken that long, I’ve still been able to enjoy my life… and squeeze into skinnier jeans!
I think it is time I took a somewhat back seat from Weight Loss Wednesday – would any lovely Weight Loss Wednesday contributors like to guest host WLW next week?
