Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky Week 48!
Hope you are all having a fabulous week and are feeling pumped up!
Only 4 weeks now until the final Weight Loss Wednesday post, well, from me anyway! I am totally annoying myself and believe I have found myself at the ‘happy to maintain for the moment’ stage. Post Christmas will be an entirely different story, especialling considering how many newbies join the gym in January… clearly I am not the only one who worries about the Christmas bulge!
This last week has been awful, I came down with a stonker of a cold that had me reaching for comfort food and sugary cups of tea to make me feel better and more with it. Having Liv off for 2 days didn’t help either as I am now desperately trying to catch up as much as possible! This is turn has meant I haven’t visited the gym… which I feel awful about, however I have learned to control my gym guilt well and now realise that it will still be there tomorrow! I am back on the New You Plan for a couple days… love the banana shakes… however when a bundle of Toblerone loveliness turned up yesterday I was wavering, someone is not playing nicely! 🙁 Dieting at Christmas is horrible!
I have done a surprising amount of walking despite my fluffy head and even had a trip to the Christmas markets… where… I did not eat a thing. Not one tasty Bratwurst passed my lips due to the food section being closed. A tad annoying but maybe a godsend in terms of maintaining weight!
I am still undecided as to what challenges I should set for next year – to lose more weight is not enough, it is too easy to turn to the New You Plan, the challenge there comes with maintaining and toning.
Someone suggested doing Tough Mudder together – I am a bit odd, albeit I don’t mind getting dirty (wahey!) I am quite a clean runner… my trainers are pristine, so getting them caked in mud would see me curled up in a corner crying. I feel the need to learn something new and different – we recently won a family ticket to go rock climbing at the school fair – something I would never have considered before my weight loss but it could actually be fun!
