Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky Week 51… The Final One!
Does anyone actually care about weight loss this week? It’s Christmas and as yet I have had nowhere near the amount of sausage rolls I should have had… in fact I have had none. Though shall be making my own!
With one week to go until the end of the year, I have managed to smash 2 of the 3 challenges I set myself at the start of the year. Weight loss and the race being the two main obstacles to overcome and I completed both in style. The year is not over yet though so I could manage to complete the final challenge!
What about next year though? Fitness will still continue to be at the forefront of everything I do – but maybe it’s time to give my body a little rest and work on the brain. The rather forgotten brain that is far too underutilised these days – totally explains my need for excitement and causing trouble!
So, one of my challenges is to complete a Diploma in Criminalistics via NCC Homelearning. There are so many interesting courses to choose from (over 300!) in many different sectors such as Beauty, Marketing, Finance, Teaching and many more. With deposits from as little as £35, finance available and a cracking 20% off all courses Christmas code (XMAS20), a diploma from NCC would be an awesome Christmas gift to kick start 2016!
The fact the diploma is an online course will be fantastic for me and will fit perfectly around my life as a single mum and will still enable me to visit the gym!
The NCC dashboard is relatively easy to understand and navigate – a very good start, as I am a little nervous about learning again – mainly about the exam really, I don’t do exams well! With an introduction to the course, all the module information and exam is online based. Which, when I pretty much live on my laptop anyway should make it all a lot easier. There seems to be a lot of help and support available with the courses offered and it has been good to have a refresher in ‘the purpose of a bibliography’ – something I have not had to do since my English Language A-Level!
A random choice from me, but anyone who knows me will know I like to analyse everything, a classic overthinker, it is going to be a course I shall fully enjoy. There shall be a lot of reading and printing out involved, yet everything appears to be straight forward. Once all the course material has been read and then re-read, it is a case of taking the online exam… which you either pass or fail. A certificate can be downloaded upon successful completion or you have the opportunity to purchase a hard copy… I believe I shall be choosing the hard copy and will have a frame ready!
I will be updating on you my progress with the diploma, who knows what it shall lead on to!
So… that is basically one of my challenges for the New Year… now I need to get cracking on a race too! Have you thought about your challenges for 2016?
