My Current Trainer Wish List

by S1m

Gone are the days when I could splurge on shoes… I recall walking into a shop and purchasing a £110 pair of trainers with one of my first wage packets and not having to worry about how I would survive the rest of the month.

Along came Liv and any thoughts of an impressive shoe collection were dashed. Although, my Mizuno running trainers are pretty awesome and a fantastic sale purchase that enabled me to run the Race For Life last year.

I am all for the comfort these days, however I still love a bold style so here are some beauties that are on my current trainer wish list…

Adidas Originals

Not a trainer that used to be on my radar, the look was always slightly too indie for me however the Adidas Originals style has change somewhat over the years and I am liking the bold look. I quite like the idea of wedge trainers – I can just see me teetering around in them on the school run – I am already 5ft 9.5″ I hasten to add. Heels always send me sky rocketing, but when you find a comfy pair of shoes, you simply want to live in them!

I have never owned a pair of Converse trainers, I do believe from everyone who does that they are the comfiest trainers ever. These particular yellow trainer style Converse would be ideal, however definitely a trainer to wear when it is not raining!

I could not let a post dedicated to trainers pass by without mentioning running trainers! These particular Asic Gel Pulse 7 beauties winked at me – the rearfoot GEL Cushioning System that absorbs shock when your foot lands is a great plus point for me to take the strain off my knees. I really do not want to sprain my knee again, so these are a consideration for an upgrade!
