Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday… albeit a bit slow this last week, but back in full force today!
I had my first physio session last week, which coincided with WLW so I decided to give last week’s post a miss until I had further to report. It was slightly odd, the diagnosis was as expected and I am sporting a torn rotator cuff… I was sent off with a resistance band and dodgy exercises to work on with instructions to return again.
The painkillers are being relied upon less and this morning at the gym I even attempted several reps on the Overhead Press, which ached at the time but my shoulder and arm seem to be holding up now.
I am on Day 4 of the New You Plan now and with my many gym visits in the last week am noticing a huge difference to my shape again. I am back where I want to be, the scales are being kind and everything is hunky dory… except we have Easter in the way…
I’m allowing myself Sunday off the diet and then I can cook a lovely lamb roast with all the vegetables and Lamb cooking in the same dish. AngelaThisIsLife posted a wonderful Easter Lamb recipe that I shall be trying. Mini Me is excited, Lamb is one of her favourite meats, but I assure you, she is not as excited I am! Whilst Mini Me has several Easter Eggs lined up waiting to be chomped on, I have just one and will savour every bite and take it easy. Just because it is there does not mean I have to eat it all at once, just proving the way I consider food has totally changed. So far this month my weight loss is 10lbs, I want to feel good about dressing for Spring and showing off my ridiculously pale legs in the hope they do actually catch some sun!
