Weight Loss Wednesday Linky: It’s Easter!

Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday… albeit a bit slow this last week, but back in full force today!

I had my first physio session last week, which coincided with WLW so I decided to give last week’s post a miss until I had further to report. It was slightly odd, the diagnosis was as expected and I am sporting a torn rotator cuff… I was sent off with a resistance band and dodgy exercises to work on with instructions to return again.

The painkillers are being relied upon less and this morning at the gym I even attempted several reps on the Overhead Press, which ached at the time but my shoulder and arm seem to be holding up now.

I am on Day 4 of the New You Plan now and with my many gym visits in the last week am noticing a huge difference to my shape again. I am back where I want to be, the scales are being kind and everything is hunky dory… except we have Easter in the way…

Guylian Easter Egg

I’m allowing myself Sunday off the diet and then I can cook a lovely lamb roast with all the vegetables and Lamb cooking in the same dish. AngelaThisIsLife posted a wonderful Easter Lamb recipe that I shall be trying. Mini Me is excited, Lamb is one of her favourite meats, but I assure you, she is not as excited I am! Whilst Mini Me has several Easter Eggs lined up waiting to be chomped on, I have just one and will savour every bite and take it easy. Just because it is there does not mean I have to eat it all at once, just proving the way I consider food has totally changed. So far this month my weight loss is 10lbs, I want to feel good about dressing for Spring and showing off my ridiculously pale legs in the hope they do actually catch some sun!

    woohoo look at you go ! I’m TOTALLY lacking in energy and motivation at the moment and it’s showing ! I will make a determined effort to get back out running in the holidays in a couple of weks, and the warmer weather should get us out on lots of long walks again, which should get things back on track hopefully.

      Absolutely! I am hoping the weather warms up soon, want to go for a run outside! All this damn rain! Thank you so much chick, I enjoyed some time off and have been doing it all at my own pace… it’s all getting there! Hope you are feeling well this week! You have been so busy recently, take time out for you and then you will feel more refreshed to get back on it!xx

    Ouchy, rotator cuff sounds painful! Don’t overdo it.
    I got offered an easter egg yesterday (by my parents) and said no! GO ME! If I get one I’ll eat it just because it’s easter, not because I really fancy it, so I’m not having one. This is big news for chocoholic me!
    Hope you heal up quickly and enjoy easter!

    Good to hear the healing process is continuing and well done on losing 10lb already this month. I am pushing onwards with my healthier lifestyle and know that a huge factor in it has been getting involved with these link ups. I think the warmer days of spring should benefit us all as we can get outdoors more!

    know ive been missing for a while – wont go in to why now but needless to say im sorry youve had an injury 🙁
