Weight Loss Wednesday: Getting Back On It

Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky… well, Thursday but I am sure I can be forgiven!

So, the last week has been a total washout! My sore throat turned into tonsillitis and has meant I have been rattling around on copious tablets and feeling sorry for myself.

I have been living on sugary cups of tea and buttery toast and have not been worrying about weight loss in the slightest. Me, being me though, naturally I have been weighing myself every day and have been watching the scales go down but am aware that will change when I start eating properly again.

What is it with being ill and not being bothered to eat? If I hadn’t had Mini Me to cook for, I probably would have lived on cups of tea and been quite happy. Despite feeling more tired than normal, I am back on the mend and my singing voice is in fine form again!

Gym visits have been non existent and I am starting to feel the guilt over that again, however have my bag packed ready for a visit tomorrow. Instead, I have been enjoying this glorious weather with lots of dog walks in the countryside and lawn mowing… I am so rock n roll I don’t know how I keep up! 😉

Weight Loss

Today I will be having what I presume is my final physio session with the Clark Kent physio. Due to being ill, I have not even been thinking about my shoulder, it has not really been in pain, however that maybe due to all the painkillers! All seems to be okay, despite a few creaks and twinges, so I am hoping I can get back to my weights at the gym and work on building muscle up again.

The next week will just be a case of getting back to normal, getting back into training and regulating my diet again. Weight Loss is a vicious cycle, it is ongoing and a long arsed journey but it will all be worth it in the end!

So sorry you’ve been poorly, getting better is way more important than watching the weight.

Sorry to hear you’ve been poorly, that was me last week with a stomach bug.The appetite roared back for me which was hard to handle but I’m feeling much better and focused now. Hope you’re feeling better soon x

After a terrible 3 weeks I am so glad to be back to normal and getting back on the wagon. I cant even say I enjoyed the break LOL
