Festival Must Haves: Part Two

by S1m

If you are attending a festival and plan to camp, why not brighten your living and chill area with home comforts to help you relax when you roll back.

If you are a snuggler and feel slightly restricted in a sleeping bag, why not take a duvet with you and sleep in total comfort. The Hotel Luxe All Season 13.5 Tog Duvet (4.5 & 9 Tog) from the Julian Charles range (priced between £35-£50 depending on chosen size) is not only perfect as a home duvet set, but the two separate duvets (for the seasons) give you the chance to be create, comfy and warm! With two different sized duvets in the set, you will definitely be prepared for any weather… create extra warmth by using on top of your sleeping bag, or even inside. Filled with breathable micro-clusters, the duvet set is ridiculously comfy and easy to roll up to ensure you have a good night’s sleep… when you eventually get back to your tent!

Light the way, spruce up your living quarters and easily find the way back to your tent with these super cute LumiLife LED Chinese Lantern Lights from the LEDHut (£8.99). With 4 different colours in the box, the laterns are solar powered, with an auto on/off dusk till dawn sensor offering up to 8 hours of illumination. Standing a 20cm each, the Chinese lanterns are substantial in size and can be hung to provide a focal point with the handy clip.

The LUMiLife solar powered LED Clip-On Lantern (currently £6.99 from LEDHut) is a perfect to decorate your living area and a great centrepiece idea. Featuring a flickering flame effect, the lantern takes 4.5 hours to charge and illuminates for 8 hours – let’s just pray for the sunshine!

Whilst praying for sun to power lanterns, you also need to protect your own skin! The Frezyderm skin care range offer high SPF sun screens that act as a second skin, giving you total reassurance that you are protected. Running until the 15th July 2016, Frezyderm are giving away 20 Adult Skincare Bundles if you share your favourite summer moments on Instagram or Twitter by tagging @FrezydermUK and using #SummerMoments.

Mini size travel products are perfect for saving space and making your travel packs lighter. Batiste Dry Shampoo is one of my all time favourite products, now available in a handy travel sized 50ml spray, priced at £1.55 from Boots. The Nair Argan Oil range of hair removal products are fantastic for ensuring you can rock a festival with silky smooth, fuzz free skin. The range is available from £5.10 at Boots.

Mascara is the ultimate beauty product and VLM Mini from CODE Beautiful is the festival beauty must have. No bigger than your ring finger and retailing at £10, the small 3.5ml tube really does pack a punch, helping to enhance your lashes whilst nourishing an encouraging lash growth.

Keep your bits fresh with these handy FemFresh wipes, with an RRP of £1.55, available from Boots, these wipes will ensure you are on top form when partying away. Brightly coloured packaging is in keeping with the festival vibe and makes the wipes easy to find at the bottom of your bag.

No need to carry a full sized toothpaste with you, when Arm & Hammer offer travel sized tubes  – their ‘Truly Radiant’ toothpaste removes stains and leaves you with refreshing, fresh minty breath. Available from Boots.
