Welcome to Weight Loss Wednesday Linky!

I know the linky is mainly aimed at those on a diet of some description – but what happens when you near your target and you want to enhance the fantastic weight loss? Besides toning up, what else can you do?

Refresh Beauty in Bolton

There are many procedures available… whether full blown liposuction or procedures on the non invasive side, these are definitely more up my street! When I was asked along to learn more about 3D Lipo at Refresh Beauty in Bolton, I was totally up for trying the non invasive treatment that appears to be the in thing right now for reducing fat and helping contour bodies.

3D Lipo

Katie, the owner of Refresh Beauty is absolutely lovely and totally knowledgeable on all the treatments offered (which is handy!) and gives advice on treatments best suited to your problem areas… not just the treatment you hope will work miracles!

In my case I had a taster session of Cavitation Lipo (fat melting) on my beer bulge/wine wedge and a taster of Skin Tightening to finish.

Cavitation is bizarre, don’t get me wrong, it is very relaxing indeed, however due to the fact it uses Ultra Sound, you have a constant cricket and grass hopper ringing in your ears… which in a way is oddly therapeutic!
Cavitation lipo is the latest non-invasive circumference reduction and body contouring treatment. The low frequency ultrasound energy wave, produces a strong wave of pressure to the fat cell membrane. The fat cell membrane cannot withstand this pressure and therefore disintegrates into a liquid state.

Cavitation machine

Fat cells popping is an odd sensation and each eradication felt like a little pinch, I would have been quite happy for Katie to pinch me all day if it meant less fat cells! A painless treatment that does offer natural fat loss results over time. Prices start from £60 per area, per Cavitation treatment. Skin Tightening is the best complement after a Cavitation session, with no further grasshoppers as this procedure uses radio waves an warms up to a comfortable 40 degrees.

We live in a society that demands results instantly and although you will notice an immediate result in the measurement of the treated area though the non invasive treatments do take time (think weeks as opposed to minutes) for the optimum results to be visible.

Follow Refresh Beauty on Facebook and check out the treatment results!

I hope in a couple of weeks you can begin to see some good results. It certainly sounds really interesting – if a bit scary! 🙂

Are you going back for more treatments then? Sounds interesting but I know I need to lose weight first before I can start worrying about how to make my skin tighter. I’m hoping by exercising this will help tone me up so reducing the flab 🙂
