Ramsbottom Festival

With a month to go, final preparations for the Ramsbottom Festival are in full swing… and I’m not just talking about my outfit choice!

The Friday Headliners have finally been announced as Public Service Broadcasting. They will of course be joined by Gaz Coombes and the Fun Lovin’ Criminals who will headline the festival on the Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Ramsbottom Festival

That’s right folks… the Ramsbottom Festival, based at the Rammy Cricket Club will once again bring the sleepy, quintessential Lancashire village alive from Friday 16th September to Sunday 18th September 2016.

As always, the festival will feature three stages, heaps of activities for all ages and the very best scrumptious local food and ale. The intimate festival is ridiculously family friendly, with activities for all the family to take part in. With performances from Axial Dance, Kilter Theatre, Taking Flight and many more, children will certainly be entertained over the weekend!

You can check out more information regarding the which bands will be playing epic vibes at the Festival and when over on the Ramsbottom Festival website. Here you can also check out how you can purchase tickets… either for the day or the entire weekend.

You cannot take food or drink into the festival but there is a fantastic array of food stalls offering tasty delights for all palates… there are also the obligatory drinks stalls offering alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to wet the old whistle!

If you fancy checking out the festival for the whole weekend, then camping in the local vicinity is available, with more details on the site regarding how you can pitch up your tent.

The weather was fantastic for the 2015 festival and my fingers are crossed that we will once again enjoy glorious weather for the weekend!

Oooh, another family festival to check out! The Fum Lovin Criminals is quite a big act for a small festival isn’t it. Enjoy and I’ll check out your review afterwards. Thanks for joining the #weekendblogshare
