I don’t know whether it’s a case that of the fact I am getting older, or the fact my dreams are not really that memorable anymore, but I do not seem to dream. However, when I do, you can bet your butt that they are vivid and slightly warped.
Many a genius plan has been formed off the back of one of my crazy dreams – the most recent dream I recall was action packed, with a baby shower for a friend and men in Speedos pretending they were rowing along a moving walkway. Really! I’m not entirely sure any plans could be formed from that particular dream, but it has stuck in my mind. I wouldn’t know where to begin with deciphering that particular dream, I cannot even say I had been eating cheese before bed!
Mini Me’s dreams generally involve walking the dog and her school friends, though last night she did apparently dream of swimming in a lake with her Grandma. I’m sure nearer Christmas, her dreams will involve a large amount of sacks of toys that she believes Father Christmas will be bringing her… is this where the phrase ‘keep dreaming’ comes into play?
I’ve never really given a thought to what dreams actually mean, however Adjustamatic , who have recently teamed up with leading dream expert Ian Wallace to help! The fantastic video, available to watch below, gives a wonderful insight into what children’s dreams actually mean. It turns out those crazy stories we hear about their dreams are actually have a lot of real life implications! Dreams can actually be described as being the ultimate selfie – in a dream, you create a far better understanding of who you are, in essence, creating a snapshot of who you are, what you want and what you believe!
