The Christmas shopping may well be underway as you stockpile gifts, I am hoping that the Gift Guide is providing some inspiration but what about the Christmas ‘Spring’ Clean?
Recently I have visited our local tip on several occasions and know that I still need to return again with more boxes of rubbish in order to have my house ship shape for the Christmas festivities. Then the big clean up really begins!
This year, my Christmas clean up will hopefully be a little easier thanks to the aid of the lightweight Kobold VK200 Ultimate Homecare System that I am very kindly being loaned for a few weeks!
Kobold, the company behind the cult kitchen gadget Thermomix have also designed possibly the most awesome vacuum cleaner ever! Albeit I have yet to put the system to the test, the information regarding the rather clever VK200 and what it can do is already very appealing.
The multi-functional, hi-tech upright vacuum cleaner has been designed with saving time on basic cleaning chores as the most pivotal aspect. With the ability to work effortlessly over many surface types, I will be able to personally test the VK200 over carpet, laminate and tiled flooring. The 5 main attachments that are available to purchase with the system, allow the user to clean even more surfaces from mattresses to curtains and soft furnishings, making it a total multi use home system.
What makes the system even more special is the Kobold SP530 DuoClean attachment for cleaning hard floors. By using just 100 millilitres of water, the attachment collects debris and then mop up to 20 square metres of hard floor. Mopping at the same time as vacuuming? This is absolute genius at its best!
The Kobold VK200 Ultimate Homecare System does retails from a hefty £749 right through to £1,499 dependent on the attachments also required. However this isn’t just any vacuum, as after 8 years in design and product development to ensure they system is worth every penny, it is affectionately known as the ‘Rolls Royce of vacuum cleaners’.
I am rather looking forward to putting the VK200 to the test and will be fully utilising the attachments – muddy paw prints will hopefully not be met with the same deep sigh as normal for a few weeks! Make sure you come back and check on the progress to see if the VK200 delivers on its awesomeness!
