It’s probably hard to believe that packing bags for the BlogOn Conference is actually quite fun. Packing 200 goodie bags surely can’t be fun though? Well, when you are working with your friends, drinking coffee and generally monkeying around it really does help pass the time.
The one thing that isn’t fun are the aches and pains you suffer afterwards from all the lifting and bending. With this in mind I had prepared myself last week with several gym visits and a couple of long walks to loosen the old limbs ready for bag packing chores.
This time was so much easier, the system in place meant we had completed the 200 bags in less than 2 hours without the usual aches and pains we tend to suffer. We even had time to properly check out what goodies attendees of the Manchester based conference will be receiving at the end of the day…
There really is something for everyone and lots of foodie treats too to keep you going on your trip home from the event, with lots of Haribo, popcorn and a lunchbox Soreen bar amongst other treats.
Fortunately we had been sent a few more packs of the lovely Soreen yumminess recently which Mini Me has been enjoying in her school packed lunches. I’ve always been a huge fan of Soreen and it makes me reminisce about my childhood when I used to munch on buttered Soreen with my mum whilst watching Neighbours. The individually packed Soreen Lunchbox Loaves are super handy for packed lunches, whenever you need a treat and for getting out and about, especially during the half term break. Available in original malt and banana flavours, with toffee and chocolate loaves now available in the range which you can pick up from most supermarkets.
You will have gathered what is going to keep me going on the journey home from Blog On! If you want a sneak peak of items in the goody bags, check out the BlogOn Instagram page.
