Fitness Update: Introducing The Feel Good Linky

The end of last week was terrible on the fitness front, having been completely KO’d by a cold, a Friday gym visit was never going to happen and I took the ‘feed a cold’ motto to the extreme. I did borrow some dumbbells and a medicine ball from a neighbour and was able to keep up with some sort of a weight routine… with some new exercises thrown in that I found on Instagram. It truly is a fount of knowledge and there are some great fitness videos available on the App to give you inspiration.

This week has started off in high spirits, with a great gym session on Monday – I even attempted the CrossTrainer… I hate the CrossTrainer… so I’m proud that I am pushing myself out of my comfort zone at the moment.

Fitness Tips For Summer

I will be pushing myself out of my comfort zone even more later when Mini Me and I attend our first boxing class at a local gym. Not totally conventional, but after a long chat about activities we can do, we decided on boxing. A fantastic all-round sport, that does not actually have to involve any contact. I am slightly apprehensive about what to expect, however the interactions with the gym have been lovely, they all appear super friendly and the reviews are all ridiculously positive… wish us luck!

On the eating side, now that I am back to full health I am continuing with the TFR plan and will also be featuring LighterLife and their amazing range of VLCD diet products in the next couple of fitness posts, so please do come back and check out my progress!

    This is a great idea for a linky, I really need to up my motivation to lose weight, but cakes and biscuits just need to be in my life right now hahahaha!
    I love the cross trainer though, thats the only thing at the gym I wanted to do every time.

      Thank you so much Michelle, it’s great to be back with renewed vigour! The cross trainer is one of my least favourite pieces of equipment, it takes me about five mins to get on it and get into a rhythm! xxx
