Feel Good Linky – Bye Bye Summer!

It has been a while since I posted a fitness post, especially a Feel Good Linky post because I was rather selfish and took the summer off! Time flies by so quickly and most of the year is spent working or working hard fitness wise, so I took some time out for me and thoroughly enjoyed recharging my batteries.

However, this week my gym buddy and I are back on it and even experimenting with new exercises and a new routine. We are still concentrating on weight training and today was leg day – something that is much needed as I have noticed the deterioration in muscle build up in my legs due to taking 7 weeks off but am hoping that I will notice a difference very soon thanks to our routine.

For now I am using the New You Plan products as a quick fix to get me back into fitness and weight loss mode. I have two weeks until the Blog On Xmas conference and want to make and see a difference for then. Over the summer whilst enjoying myself, I have tried to stick to the Keto Lifestyle, which I shall be writing about soon. The Keto lifestyle is actually more enjoyable than expected, as a meat lover trips to my local butchers have increased – as has my intake of vegetables, which can only be a good thing.

The key is keep carbs down to a minimum – roughly 20g net per day to ensure your body is in the state of ketosis. Living without bread and pasta and all the savoury foods I enjoy has been much easier than expected and I’ve found myself not missing carbs at all. Expect to hear more about the Keto lifestyle soon, with plenty of pictures!

Hi took the summer off to from working out and I am regretting it so bad because I’ve gained the weight back + now have no motivation to go to the gym ugh!

This… just this! Albeit we started and were ready to hit the gym again, it has taken quite a lot of focus to rebuild the motivation we had before the holidays – we’ve even forgotten our routine! I hope you manage to find your mojo again! x

I need to get back in the gym too, and make better snack choices. I’ve been going to the snack machine at work a little too much, and need to get back to bringing snacks from home.

Snack machines are awful… they keep winking at you until you buy something from them! 😉 It’s all about making better choices, plus you will save money too 🙂

I’ve skipped my run this week because of a sick daughter and other stuff. But I’ll be back on it next week. I’d like to do more in the week but realistically, I’m setting myself for a guilt-ridden fall so I’m sticking to once a week for now… Thanks for hosting #FeelGoodLinky
