Christmas: Limited Edition HP Sprocket Printer Gift Set Review

It can be quite daunting when looking to buy Christmas presents for older children and teenagers, especially in a world where most things are gadget related. Well, don’t fear as I am currently checking out the rather awesome and super cute HP Sprocket printer gift set, which is one of my must buys this Christmas.

HP Sprocket Printer Review

Currently the limited edition HP Sprocket Printer Gift Set is priced at £119.99 (the same price as the printer on its own!) over at Amazon – it should be £179.99, making it one heck of a saving in time for Christmas! I love the white and rose gold colouring, it makes the printer and purse stand out and easier to find too! 😉

The gift set includes the HP Sprocket printer, USB cable, 10 sticky backed photo sheets, a gorgeous purse to keep your printer safe, a super cute photo album for all your masterpieces and a voucher to claim a free personalised Sprocket skin in order to make your printer totally unique.

I have had to stop myself printing so that Mini Me gets the opportunity to use the remaining photo sheets. However, stocking up on packs of 20 photo sheets has just been made easier as the genuine HP photo sheets are now £7.26 as opposed to the usual price of £9.99. You can stock up on the photo sheets directly from Amazon.

The photo sheets are sticky backed, enabling the photos to be stuck wherever, or they can simply be kept in the photo album that is included in the HP Sprocket Printer Gift Set. The most awesome thing about the printer is that it does NOT require ink cartridges, the special zinc photo sheets are all that is required.

It is much easier than expected to install, I simply connected the printer to my laptop via the included USB cable, downloaded the HP Sprocket app via the PlayStore (looking at around 88MB on the Android app), synced via BlueTooth on my phone and within 5 minutes of setting up the install had printed 4 images. The app is pretty cool and super easy to follow – it even enables you to edit images and even use themed frames around images – perfect for if you are gifting an photo sticker!

The HP Sprocket printer itself is tiny, the image above features a Samsung S7 and shows the printer being even smaller! The set is very portable and the cute purse holds the printer and the cable meaning you can take it out and about with you to make photographs whilst you are out and about! Printing photos is something I do not do enough of, but now with the HP Sprocket, I have no excuse when it comes to bringing images, Instagram creations and social media images to print.

Trust me, I love it, however the younger generation will love it even more! The Sprocket is portable, cute, immediate, easy to setup and install and away you go!

Wow this looks like a great little gadget! Something I’m sure BP would like if it weren’t rose gold (!) but I might look into getting him one. 🙂

It is fantastic for children and if they are tech savvy, super easy for them to use. Fab price currently too… and the papers!xx

Wow that does look fun – and not just for the kids in the family! You’re right we don’t print anywhere near enough photos now – thanks for sharing with #PoCoLo x

Absolutely – I have been printing a fair few pictures off too. To have the immediate ability to print pictures is fantastic… oh for the days when you needed to wait almost a week for a film to be developed! 😉 xx

Does it print as well as printing photos

The quality isn’t as great as if you were to have the photos printed properly – however for the size of the sticker paper the quality is good – some colours are deeper than others but my daughter is absolutely delighted with the pictures she prints.
