Getting Ready For The BlogOn Conference…
It has been a seriously quiet week post side on the blogs this week but trust me, a lot has been happening behind the scenes!
If you didn’t already know, the BlogOn X conference is this weekend and whilst most attendees will be packing for an awesome weekend, mingling with bloggers and brands that work with bloggers… it’s a totally different run up for Jen and I!
We spent Tuesday and Wednesday bag packing 400 goody bags for the 200 BlogOn attendees who will each be given two goody bags at the end of the conference. Laura has done a sterling job organising them and everyone is going to be amazed by the contents – there really are some fab products in the bags, especially the BettyBox which Liv loves.
BettyBox is a subscription box service, aimed at teenagers which contains pads and/or tampons as well as a few treats (as you can see from the image above). We all know that time of the month is hard, but coupled with school work… receiving a BettyBox is guaranteed to raise a smile! It’s also a helpful box when having a period talk with a pre-teen too! Each BlogOn goody bag has been packed with a box.
The food and drink items are awesome and I especially love the Bahlsen Leibniz Zoo Butter Biscuits in a resealable bag. Trust me, the resealable part never came into play as I hoovered my pack in several gulps after packing the heaviest 200 bags on Tuesday. Never has a butter biscuit tasted so good and I did take the time to notice that each biscuit is shaped like a zoo animal. Kids and adults will definitely enjoy these!
You will also find a pack of the latest Fruitilicious Haribo sweets which offer 30% less sugar but the same great taste you expect from Haribo! I wonder how many of these bags will make it home as they are rather moreish!
The bag packing is heavy going… literally but we have a nice, reliable system in place and get the job done! I am hoping the aches and pains will have disappeared by Sunday! 😉
Jen and I will be the first port of call on Sunday as we shall be checking everyone in and giving directions. If we look at you blankly, the chances are we shall have forgotten your name, so feel free to give us a gentle nudge! Enjoy the day… you will meet new friends, learn new blogging tips and remember the BlogOn weekend for a long time!
A challenge from me… see if you can take a better selfie than the lift selfie taken at last year’s event…
