Christmas Inspiration: Food Glorious Christmas Food

by S1m

Christmas food is my absolute favourite!

There are so many wonderful food items that are only available during the Christmas season that I long for each year. Following Keto has been great and the results speak for themselves, however I have allowed myself a little time off to enjoy some delectable treats over the festive period. Let’s have a look at what I will be eating and hopefully offer you some inspiration for Christmas food to either eat yourself or gift…

The Spice Pioneer monthly subscription spice kits have been developed by the Seasoned Pioneers and offer subscribers the taste of a different country or region each month. The Spice Pioneer is powered by spice experts, Seasoned Pioneers, who are famous for dry roasting world-class spices, sourced from only trusted suppliers around the world, so you can guarantee that the spices are of the highest standard and specially selected. Alongside the selected spices, the kit also features easy to follow instructions, a shopping list for the extra ingredients needed to make the succulent spiced meals and rather charmingly, a music playlist to inspire you whilst cooking your dishes. Encona Hot Sauce

The Carolina Reaper Chilli Limited Edition hot sauce is a fantastic addition to the Encona range. It truly isn’t for the faint hearted… featuring a scorching blend of the world’s hottest chilli pepper, tomato and sauces you are warned on the label to ‘try at your own risk’! This is certainly one way to spice up scrambled eggs – Keto lovers rejoice, there are 16g of carbs per 100ml in the 142ml bottle, so a little dollop of this sauce will add fire to most meals without the guilt! Add to your Christmas dinner, chicken wings, soups, stews and my favourite… scrambled eggs! You can check out recipe inspiration over on the Encona site, alongside their full range and pick up the Carolina Reaper Chilli if your tastebuds are brave from Amazon and retailers such as Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys.

There is so much Christmas food inspiration out there and you can bet I’ve already started stocking up on Lebkuchen from Lidl. I hope this post has given you some inspiration for your own table and gift ideas for others!
