The summer holidays are fast approaching and now is the time to dust off those suitcases! You may well be preparing for travelling with your family and considering what to pack, knowing full well that you will eventually overpack! Holiday shopping is rather exciting, especially with sales on at the moment and lots of lovely summer fashion on offer.

However, despite overpacking you will inevitably forget something that you will find yourself needing and generally remember when you are actually stood in the airport! Typical!

So how do you make travelling less stressful?

Fear not though, most airports now offer amazing shopping experiences to travellers who are wanting to pick up last minute items and more. Heck, if you wanted, you could even by your entire summer holiday at the airport, the shopping is that fantastic!

Not only that, but airports such as Manchester Airport allow travellers the opportunity to buy before you fly even before entering the airport with a Click & Collect service on their website. Purchase your item beforehand and casually arrive at the airport and go to collect, allowing you a more relaxing travel experience… plus, extra time to browse!

So what items can you actually Click & Collect from Manchester Airport?

Items such as the Sony headphones pictured above are always a lovely treat from the airport, especially if you have a medium to long journey ahead of you. Being able to watch a Netflix film/series (you can download beforehand) or listen to your favourite music tracks really does help to pass the time a little quicker and helps you to relax. Noise cancelling headphones are always an added bonus if you are on a noisy flight! If you are unsure of what headphones to buy and don’t want the stress of researching at the airport, check out this handy ultimate Travel Headphones Guide for some inspiration.

You can also shop Duty Free items to be bagged and ready for collection when you arrive at the airport! If you are anything like me, you will always miss half of the duty free items and offers whilst browsing, so the fact you can browse online and buy pre-airport arrival is seriously handy. Collecting from Duty Free means you can still also fit in a quick fragrance too!

Travelling is stressful at the best of times, if you can alleviate some of the pressure before you even embark on your travels, you can simply enjoy your holiday with your added treats. Clearly, you do not know if you will forget something by the time you are travelling, but preparing yourself before you even depart will make your travels less stressful!

Disclosure: I was very kindly gifted with the headphones pictured for my time writing this post – Liv is over the moon!

I rarely buy before I fly, I always pick up anything I want at the duty free on arrival before leaving the security areas
