Avocados are an absolute staple when following the Keto Lifestyle – they are super yummy, versatile and also a great source of fat when you need to up your Keto macros. However, what can you make with them? Why not try my easy Keto Guacamole recipe below!
Can you eat avocados on Keto?
Avocados are a good source of fat when on the Keto diet. If you are a fan of avocado on toast, you may well miss the toast part immensely when embarking on a low carb diet, however there are many ways in which you can still utilise this particular fruit.
Personally, I love to combine avocado with a prawn mayonnaise salad, totally refreshing and a really good fat high/ moderate protein/ low carb balanced meal.
It can be hard to get to grips to avocado, knowing when it is ripe and ready to eat and what to actually make with it, so I will be showing you possibly one of the easiest and yummiest avocado recipes to make that is a fabulous Keto treat!

The perfect picnic treat, I find that rashers of unsmoked streaky bacon when crisped up make for the perfect dippers. Don’t worry about leftovers, simply store in a fridge overnight and enjoy again the next day!
It’s a really easy and inexpensive side dish to make, a total crowd pleaser for any picnic this summer! I served mine in gorgeous coconut bowls for a fun twist!

I did keto a couple of years ago and I used to practically live off avocado at breakfast times, but now I’m on the Noom diet so I tend to avoid it as it’s so high in calories.
We try to eat avocados at least once a week as a family but I have never added bacon in mine, will follow your recipe next time
I love guacamole but I am the only one in my house that likes it, so tend not to have it very often. I will have a go at this when we have friends round
