Christmas Gift Ideas For Tweens

Christmas Gift Ideas for Tweens

** Items featured in this post have been sent to me for the purpose of this handy Sim’s Life gift guide.

Are you scratching your head over what to buy a tween for Christmas this year? You, me and a lot of other people are as well! Possibly the hardest age range to buy for, especially when most tweens these days already have every technological device available! The easiest option can be to simply gift store vouchers or money and then tweens can buy what they like when they see it, however this can seem impersonal. If you are looking to give a tween a gift wrapped present, here are some gift ideas they will appreciate!

Christmas Gift Ideas For Tweens

Christmas Gifts Unicorn Mug

Unicorn Mug from The Gift Experience (£9.99)

Who doesn’t love unicorns? Popular whatever your age, this super cute Unicorn Mug from The Gift Experience is a fabulous tween gift idea! Their own decorative ceramic mug, perfect for a warming hot chocolate throughout the Winter months and beyond. Part of a range of age appropriate gift ideas, The Gift Experience has a wonderful selection of unique gifts that will delight all! The mug does come boxed, making it much easier to wrap – with delivery really quick too!

Personalised Gift Ideas for Christmas

Personalised Colouring Pencils from The Personalised Gift Shop (£7.99)

I love personalised gifts for the thought that has gone into the present to make it more meaningful to the intended person. Finding my name on personalised gifts has always been a nightmare, there weren’t too many keyrings with ‘Simone’ emblazoned on them growing up in the 80’s, so imagine my delight when I opened a pack of colouring pencils with my name on them! I know Liv will cherish and look after the pencils from The Personalised Gift Shop plus, having named pencils makes it easier to reunite if they are ever mislaid, especially if taken into school! Delivery was fairly quick considering each pencil needed to be personalised, go and check out the site as they have a wonderful selection of gifts available for personalisation, but allow a little extra time for the Christmas rush!

Locker Days Bundle Gift Set

Decorative Locker Accessory Bundle from Locker Days £21

Tween aged children will either be at high school or will be in the transition of just starting and the independence of having their own personal locker will be a big hit! I recall adorning my locker door with posters of my favourite footballers, who greeted me each time I opened the door to throw my books inside. I would have absolutely loved the Locker Days collection of accessories to help decorate your locker and make it more homely! This particular bundle comes complete with flamingo and pineapple wallpaper sheets to add a little colour to your locker, a faux fur carpet (which is super soft and cuddly) and 6 magnets with encouraging messages on them. I absolutely love this idea and it makes for a fantastic gift, I wish someone would explain what LYSM and FLEEK mean though! There are a range of designs available, go and check out the site for a gift inspiration with a difference!

Christmas Gift Idea Inspiration from Big Potato Games

Big Potato Games

20 Second Showdown is a action packed game that allows the whole family to take part, making it a fabulous Christmas gift idea! Will you have the energy to complete any of the game tasks after Christmas dinner though? You will need two teams, an adjudicator and the determination to win – the game features quick fire challenges such as ‘Recite the Ring Around The Rosies rhyme without using the letter S’ that need to be completed before the sand timer runs out! It’s fun, quick to play and very easy to pick up, making it great for including younger children. Available to purchase from Amazon, priced at £25.

A more compact version of Obama Lama, the Christmas inspired Santa Banter is a travel friendly game that will provide laughter over arguments on Christmas Day! If you choose a yellow card, you have 30 seconds to act out Christmassy rhymes such as ‘Santa Claus watching Jaws’ and ‘Santa Claus giving applause’. If you choose a pink card, you can read clues to your teammates such as ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You singer is covered from head to toe in fur’… (answer: Mariah Carey is hairy!!!!!). This game really is going to provide laughter and frolics over the festive period – great to give as a gift, or as a treat for yourself! Available to purchase from Amazon, priced at £9.99.

Ready to use in just 2 hours, the kit comes with everything you need to make your colourful creations, alongside 3 surprise figures to hide inside your bath bombs. Some really nice gifts there! I love the idea of the locker decorating – although I can imagine my kids would have used it more in their bedrooms. Personalised items are always a hit here too, because you can never find my kid’s names! 😀

I am totally with them on never finding their names, it just makes us more unique! 😉 Ohhhhh the Locker Days set is so lovely, I would have loved to decorate my locker with it. The boys would love the carpet!x

Tweens are so hard to buy for. I have one and I’m struggling.
Fab ideas. The Locker Accessory Bundle is fantastic. I haven’t seen anything like that before and the 20 Second Showdown game sounds like a lot of fun x
