Pampering Yourself For Life After Lockdown

Pampering yourself for life after lockdown

It appears summer is in full force and with news that rules are being eased slightly, you maybe looking into pampering yourself for life after lockdown.

I’m currently preparing by topping up my tan and soaking up as much Vitamin D as possible! Alongside keeping on track with the Keto lifestyle and making up for comfort eating at the start of lockdown, I need to make sure my skin, hair and body are in tip top condition for stepping foot into normal life again.

Here are the products that are going to help me get ready for life after lockdown…

Baylis & Harding Pamper Treats

Soaking

We are huge fans of the Baylis & Harding range in our house. The Baylis & Harding Royale Garden range we featured recently was absolutely gorgeous, from the packaging down to the actual products. The perfect range for a little Spring/Summer uplift, especially through lockdown! The Baylis & Harding Goodness range is something quite special though.

I was sent the Lemongrass & Ginger range, though you can also choose from Rose & Geranium and Sea Kelp & Peppermint. All the fragrances are expertly blended and enriched with natural oils to give them even more of a luxurious feel. The range is made in England, Vegan, dye – paraben – silicone free, dermatologically approved and the bottles are 100% recyclable.
So not only will you feel AMAZING when you use the Goodness range, but you can use the Baylis & Harding Goodness range knowing it’s good for you, your body and the environment!
Featuring: Natural Hand Wash (£4), Natural Body Wash (£4), Natural Soap (£2.50), Natural Bath Soak (£4) and Natural Hand Cream (£3). I expect the other fragrances in the range are gorgeous, but the Lemongrass & Ginger is beautifully scented and you cannot help feeling like you have visited a spa for a luxurious pamper session when using the products. The perfect pamper treat for preparing for the end of lockdown. The sustainable personal care range is seriously well priced for the luxury you feel when using the products. You can purchase the range from Boots or the Baylis & Harding Amazon Store.

Hair mask pamper treats

Hair

We may all be in need of a visit to the hairdresser, but there are so many ways we can keep our hair in tip top condition, even during lockdown! Start by washing and drying your hair less. Lockdown has proved the perfect time to avoid unnecessary heat damage from drying/ straightening /curling your hair. Simply tying your hair back and going a few days without washing it will help keep it refreshed longer.

Condition your hair with a nourishing mask, such as those pictured above. The Bear Fruits range from Superdrug features a funky hair mask and cute cap that is inkeeping with the mask. Yes, that is a novelty flamingo shaped (and vibrantly coloured) shower cap, no prizes for guessing who chose that! Priced at £5.99 each, buy one get one half price with the current offer.

Pamper Treats from Scentsational

Skincare

You may have noticed how dry your hands are during lockdown, all that handwashing is definitely taking it’s toll! Investing in a good handcream will help nourish and moisture your hands, leaving them silky smooth. If your hands are suffering, then the chances are your face will require some attention too! The Decleor Hand Cream (£9.95) is great for nourishing and protecting your hands.

Face masks are a great way to add moisture back into the skin and leave you feeling fresh faced and ready to face the world post lockdown. The Skin Republic Bubble Purifying Charcoal Face Mask (£5.95) is great for giving you a brighter, fresher more luminous complexion. Both products pictured are available from Scentsational, alongside a vast range of skincare products for pampering yourself for after lockdown. The prices are slightly cheaper than normal RRP, so it’s definitely worth a look to grab a bargain!

GlossyBox Lockdown Treat

Surprise Pamper Treats

Treat mail is wonderful during lockdown, it’s nice to have something to look forward to and what better than a surprise box filled with pamper treats? I featured our May Glossybox in our recent Our Favourite Subscription Boxes For Lockdown Treats post. It’s worth checking out the subscription offers, we managed to buy our first box for £7 which I think is exceptional value considering the products we received.

Boots No7 Pamper Treats

Anti Ageing Pamper Treats

Homeschooling for 10 weeks may have resulted in a few more wrinkles than expected then the Boots No7 range is worth checking out! I’ve been using the No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action range for a few months now, not all the time because life gets in the way, but my skin does look so much healthier for using it. Has the range improved visibility of wrinkles? When I’m not frowning, most definitely! The Line Correcting Booster Serum really does seem to be working its magic and is worth every penny! The full range is available as a bundle, priced at £75 from Boots which is a massive saving on buying all the items separately. A great skincare routine to get into now before lockdown eases!

Sambucol

Preparing Your Immune System

You have some ideas for pampering yourself now, but what about preparing your immune system for life after lockdown? Packed with the vitamins we all need right now, the Sambucol range helps to support your immune system… whether old or young! For children aged 1-12 years, the Sambucol Black Elderberry Liquid contains naturally occuring flavonoids from the berries alongside Vitamin C. The adult liquid contains Vitamin C, Zinc alongside the goodness of the black elderberries. To be taken daily, Sambucol is a fantastic way to give your body a health boost… especially now, but also throughout Winter.
Available in a range of liquid form, capsules, gummies and effervescent tablets directly from the Sambucol site.

You’ve inspired me to take more time for pampering. Particularly for my hair which is dry at the moment 🙁

I’m a Baylis and Harding fan and love their products. I’d love to try the Garden Range that sounds lovely especially the Rose and Geranium fragranced ones.

I do love a pampering routine. I do make some time on a Sunday for a great facemark. I am a bit lazy really when it comes to skincare, but I have ordered a few bits, so will have to. I love the idea of the hair masks, especially the flamingo hat. I will have to get some myself.

Agree on this post – so important to pamper yourself when at home. Now that lemongrass set I want. Love the packaging too. I am definitely going to get some because anything lemongrass is a win for me

I’ve spent a lot of time topping up my tan and absorbing vit D. I’d love to try the glossy box subscription, do you have a link I could use? I’ve been moisturising a lot more and painting my own nails, although I do struggle with reaching my toes these days lol
Thanks for linking to #pocolo and hope to see you back later this week
